She was removed for being disruptive, not because of her faith or what she was wearing.

"We were hoping to hear him take responsibility for his failed record," Henneberg said.

You mean 'spiking the football'?

Why was she disruptive? And not allowed to speak.....(nothing says tolerance like liberalism)

You could read the article. I know you teabaggers hate reading and not being told what to believe by your masters, but it's not that hard.

In any case, shouldn't you be whining about how bin Laden is dead and how angry that makes you?

So if she was at a Romney event she would have been given a microphone or invited onstage?

2012-05-08 12:19:55 PM
I'm not going to read the article. I'm just going to go on my merry way believing that the Obama campaign team kicked her out just because she was wearing a burkha.

FTFA: According to a White House pool report, photographers observed the woman being escorted out of the gym by Richmond police and other security officials. The woman appeared to be wearing dark clothing and U.S. military pins and was carrying a book. She cooperated with police, according to the report. CBSDC obtained video of the incident from VCU journalism instructor Vivian Medina-Messner. In the video, you can hear the woman shouting while being escorted out of the building by police. VCU Police Chief John Venuti told CBS 6 WTVR that the Secret Service is now investigating the incident.

I'd wait for the video to come out. The news media will call anything vaguely Islamic-looking a "burka." Perhaps she slipped past security? Perhaps she was yelling threats? If the SS is investigating, someone thought enough of it. Wonder if we'll find out what she was shouting about.

Yep; the teatards are right. Obama's been nothing if hostile to non-Christians all throughout his presidency.

AdolfOliverPanties: So if she was at a Romney event she would have been given a microphone or invited onstage?

Probably not. If the Secret Service investigates it with the President, they would do the same for the presumptive GOP nominee's rallies.

Well...yeah. I was responding to EnviroDude's idiocy. You know, the bit about the Secret Service being a liberal organization or whatever the hell he was spewing.

It doesn't say that anywhere in that article. The video shows her shouting (presumably, for Obama to save her), but she's already in custody and being escorted out by then.

The whole things smacks of racism, misogyny, Islamophobia and hate.

Shouting during a rally? Apparently, not allowed--unless you're repeating what someone with a megaphone just said to you...

Yes, I'm sure that's what you were told to believe, and like the good little teabagger you are, you do believe it.

And besides. If it was about racism, misogyny, and Islamophobia, the teabaggers would be cheering it on.

Three possibilities:

1) James O'Keefe in burqa drag
2) the book she was carrying was actually a Kenyan birth registry with the truth
3) this women was acting crazy and being disruptive

Occam's razor would suggest #1

I was at the White House this weekend, taking pictures, nursing a hangover, looking for ice cream, and some scruffy guy in barefeet and a head covering set his bundle of....crap.. on the street and started loudly chanting in Arabic.

Most people ignored him. Some fat dipshiat in a 'rastling T shirt with family in tow started muttering "shut up, shut up.." in a sing song voice. Not loudly enough so the terrifying skinny dude with the bare feet and cut off pants could HEAR him, but loud enough so all the other tourists around him knew that He. Didn't. Approve. of someone speaking Muslim around him.

Some jogger ran by the dipshiat and called out "cut that out man, you're embarrassing your kids".

I fell in love with jogger.

Obama is the first politician ever that has had a heckler or rowdy person removed from an event.

Ok, what was she shouting? DEATH TO AMERICA? OBAMA SUCKS DONKEY BALLS? Y U NO PAY MY CHILD SUPPORT OBAMA??

Guess I have to deal with the video to find out. :-/

*watches video*

Sounds like she's "yelling" (more like "screeching") "DOCTOR HUMMAH! DOCTOR HUMMAH!"

My vote is on "crazy woman disrupting event." And I think all the dogs in the neighborhood started barking as I watched that clip...

I fell in love with a jogger in DC also once. I was visiting the mall by myself and trying to take a pic of myself in front of the capital building. This really cute girl jogs up to me and asks me if I want her to take my picture. She does, smiles at me and jogs off.

/did I mention she was really cute

Since Republicans are required by law to do the opposite of Obama, does this mean that Romney is going to invite a haram of Burka'd women on stage to debate Islamic doctrine with him?

2012-05-08 02:44:47 PM
And now the GOP is pro-burka!

This should be interesting.

Kenyan Muslims hate Muslims? Farking tea baggers have 5 minute memories. There is a reason most people respond with the "we get it he's black" comment because there really insn't any other way to understand how you can pack so much hypocrisy into your outrage.

2012-05-08 02:48:58 PM
Let me guess. One of O'Keefe's cohorts (a WASPy female) threw on a burka and got herself kicked out for causing trouble?

I'll wait for the heavily edited video.

I have no problems with someone wearing that as long as they are screened before entry into that area (you can hide a lot of stuff underneath a burka). I'm all for freedom of religion, but you do have to use some common sense when it comes to certain things... like a driver's license.

Since you know exactly what happened, why don't you enlighten us?

I have trouble with people obscuring their faces in general.

Imagine if people walked around in hockey masks for religious reasons.

This. Besides, it the burka a political construct. Not a freedom of religion issue. Try and wear a ski doo mask at your local bank and see what happens.

Just FYI, it doesn't say THAT anywhere in the article either...

Nothing is as funny ass attacking someone for inferring something from an article than making your OWN statement that is nowhere to be found, either.

ACTUAL HEADLINE: "Psychotic woman woman removed from rally." Was she in a burka? Can't tell. Her psychoticness was blocking my view.

(Keep in mind, at a Romney rally the crowd would have beaten her to death)

Aren't they supposed to be allowed eye slits, or would Allah be offended by women being able to see where they're going?

I find it difficult to believe that's genuine.

It wouldn't be legal in the UK, and we love us a Muslim.
