How did that dumb meme start anyway? Will clearly says 'Earth'. There are so many other things in that movie to rag on instead of that line.

I wonder if Mr. Smith has ever been to Washington.

/wonders if Mr. Smith pays accountants $$$$$$ to minimize his income tax, or does he use a short form.

Is this like when conservatives say "Shut up and sing" to liberally-minded musicians, and then pal around with racist-ass, draft-dodging Ted Nugent?

Geeze, liberals really have no sense of humor. He's black, so it sounds funny when he talks. Get it? Ha! Well, maybe you are all black, too.

Because if he really is one, he's about to get a nasty visit...

FTFA: "I'm very supportive of that idea," Smith told the Associated Press in an interview. "America has been fantastic to me. I have no problem paying whatever I need to pay to keep my country growing."

Compare Smith's attitude to that of dipshiats like dittybopper. And the funny part is that the taxes of all the $40,000 a year Republicans who carry water for selfish billionaires aren't changing at all.

And if you're trying to say that many blacks don't have a particular accent (just like Alabamians have one), then you're just delluded.

Even though the headline was rather long, I knew it would end in "Earf" when it started with "Will Smith."

Good old dependable Fark.

/I also don't think he really said "Earf," but it's still funny.

You're both right. In the theatrical release he says 'Earf', hence the meme. It was changed in the video/DVD release.

A charge of hypocrisy is baseless because an individual donation to the Treasury cannot and will not do what higher taxes would do. The only way it would be a logical move would be if deflecting charges of hypocrisy would alter the outcome of the political debate enough to achieve the desired policy change.

theres a spot on all the tax forms for you to add to your required taxes any amount you like. I have yet to hear the story about any wealthy individual kicking in another 20 or 30 percent of their income. They like to make the speech. They dont write the check

A thousand times THIS - not that I don't believe the rich folks who are saying "tax me more!", but I want to see their last tax return where they didn't claim any deductions, or hide assets in non-taxable venues.

Taxing the rich has always been a good choice. It has worked in so many countries. I can't name any where it worked, but it must have if that moron Obama (and now Will Smiff) says it will work.

Obama is looking to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans by something like 3 or 5%. But hey, keep lying when you have no argument.

Tax revenue was up under Reagan and despite lowering rates he increased taxes that the wealthy paid due to closing tax shelter loopholes.

you are a moron.

I am clearly referring to all the rich who whine that their taxes should be higher and yet they have all the option in the world to pay more. but they dont. and you bet your sweet ass that behind the scenes they are hiding their wealth just as much as the next rich guy.

as to the much bally hooed gates and buffet they donated their money into a charitable ( read tax free) foundation that they control and their kids will control. just another way of hiding money.
