This happened to me at a party once. I was way too drunk and wanted to lie down for a while. I thought it was a good idea to crawl under a truck someone had parked in the grass. I was awakened by the sound of the engine starting and the truck drove away, leaving me miraculously unharmed. The kicker: my date to the party was leaving in the truck with another guy.

Why would you feel remorse? They didn't do it on purpose. I doubt the driver even knew. He's driving through a lawn with tall grass. I seriously doubt he thought 'gee, there was a bump, I guess that was a person passed out on the lawn and not just a tree branch'.

I think there's one person to blame for this, and it ain't the driver of the car.
