Boston wanted to buy it and turn it into a historical monument. They had a promising package but they always fell short

Someone from New York did buy it. If he lived there between '22-'26, Ruth bought it into his second season with NYY.

The asking price for the house that Ruth lived in is less than $400,000 more than the 2004 selling price of the bat that Ruth swung. I guess the housing market is still down.

Wow..the house now costs more than Ruth made during his entire career! Thanks reporter person! And here I was, all believing that such comparisons were meaningless because there has been a little bit of inflation since the 20's, and shiat.
