You libs are just mad that conservatives are so stupid.

DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke: Weaver95: DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke: He was caught trying to bug a US Senator's office...why isn't he in federal prison?

that's an interesting question.

Upon further review, he took 3 years of probation, which is still running. I suppose his probation officer could order him to visit and invite the NH official to be present.

No, there is no condition of Federal probation which would authorize that.

2012-05-07 08:36:20 PM
Oh, sorry, I might have misunderstood your comment. The grand jury subpoena can only be served within the state of New Hampshire. He can't be ordered to go into the state by his probation officer and he has no obligation to go into the state just because they want to subpoena him.

2012-05-07 08:36:39 PM

Hot Rod Zoidberg: I live nearby O'Keefe. Maybe I should egg his house.

And watch him pull a victim card so fast the surrounding area would bleed to death from paper cuts.

2012-05-07 08:39:03 PM

Weaver95: Tigger: In a just world this young man would be raped to death by several angry bears.

in a just world, this guy would be laughed off the stage for being an idiot then ignored for the rest of his life.

That would be a world where Fox "News" doesn't exist.

EnviroDude: This is funny. The left celebrates that Okeefe is in trouble simply because he outed ACORN and their corruption.

On June 14, 2010, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) published its report: it found no evidence that ACORN, or any of its related organizations, had mishandled any of the $40 million in federal money which they had received in recent years.

Sure. Keep telling yourself that.

Are you retarded?

He's trolling on Fark-- So he's socially retarded at the very least.

yeah, but i'm sure that if someone in the system wanted to lean on o'Keefe's PO he could be made to appear in NH to answer some questions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't they just issue an arrest warrant if this idiot dodges the subpoena.

I was wondering about that, too. His wiki page says he was arrested for that but I can't find out what happened afterwards.

Stop for a moment, and contemplate what it must be like to have heroes who are 27 and live with their parents.

stoli n coke: Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't they just issue an arrest warrant if this idiot dodges the subpoena.

i'm not sure...but at the very least NH could issue a formal request to the office where O'Keefe's serving out his parole and it's likely that the PO would convince O'Keefe that its in everyone's best interests that he show up to answer a few questions.

it comes down to how much effort everyone wants to go through.

Yeah, those hardcore liberals in NH are just trying to sandbag a good Christian conservative like O'Keefe. It's a witch hunt, I tells ya!!

The implication I got from the article is that they can't serve him if he's not in the state. One assumes that to get someone who is in another state they have to work with authorities there to arrest him and then extradite. Takes time.

No problem, though. We've got all the time we need.

Let me paint a picture of why it'll be worth the wait:

James O'Keefe on video doing a perp walk with snot trailing down his pasty white face, his body heaving with uncontrolled sobs, eyes red and teeth bared in a sobbing smile of horror. A beefy deputy who is barely able to control his laughter has his left arm and is gently but firmly guiding him past the cameras. His head dips down to his right shoulder so he can wipe his face on his shirt sleeve, which causes him to stumble and the deputy holds him up briefly. He looks around, wild-eyed at the cameras and then ducks his head, his cheeks flushing scarlet.

All we hear is "watch your head, sir" as the deputy guides him into the car and off to his next adventure.

I don't know what caused me to put enviro dude on ignore, but I'm trying that "ignore responses to ignores" thing, and it's interesting what a threadshiat looks like now. That must have been one steaming turd.

If he was "smart" he would move the goalposts to the corruption at the corporate level; but given that had nothing to do with federal money or voting fraud, who cares.

You notice that with a lot of right wing "heroes." They get vicious and otherworldly support while they are acting like valient soldiers, but once they really step in it or fade out of national, daily attention, the support fades. Look at Beck. A year ago he had a loyal brigade. Now, almost nothing. Conservative loyalty and attention is a fickle thing.

It's the chin, the stretch neck just seems to offer it up to be clipped. Still, facepunching has never solved anything except for the facepunching rebellion of 1772.

Remember that time O'queef made a valid point about anything?

Me neither.

I do, however, remember that time he purposefully distorted reality to serve narrow partisan interests and that other time when he blatantly broke the law in order to earn a paycheck for serving narrow partisan interests.

Out of curiosity: Does the libby libby lib lib lib left have a simliar "celebrity?"

I don't see why everyone is calling him a pussy. If you're under threat of arrest, you don't put yourself at risk. You contact your lawyer and stay put. That's not cowardly, it's smart.

I suppose all of you were calling Julian Assange a pussy for staying in England rather than returning to Sweden?

Wow, not only does he use his parents house as a potential rape shack, but also as a place to hide out from the big mean old subpoenas.

No wonder he doesn't want to move out.
