Ambitwistor: Was it your .02 GPA?

There's a joke to be had about his BAC to GPA ratio.

Ambitwistor: Point02GPA: We didn't have e-mails when I got my "ples go elsewhere" talking to.

Why'd they kick you out? Was it your .02 GPA?

My buddy goes there he texted me after they got the email that said they werent actually kicked out. He was like " dude like 5 hrs ago everyone got an email saying they were kicked out, i was freakin out looking at gpa standards and stuff ". Most disturbing thing to me maybe it took them that long to realize they did it and rectify the situation

"Christ. Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the farking Peace Corps."

It looks like the logic here was "if student record GPA is less than 2.0, then send dismissal letter". Who'd a thunk that table might somehow be empty for some reason for everybody... huh. Weird. Testing software, how does that work?

Well that is certainly one way to solve the issue of slipping educational standards for precious snowflakes.

I remember getting called into the office and getting the "boot", because my student loan did not come in for that month. Farkin gov cut me off and left me hanging so I went to a Tech college and lived hapily ever after.

thoreau: I've seen stuff like this happen before. Really run when some dbag hits 'reply to all' to say "are you sure this was meant for me?" and then you get a server-crushing mass of people saying 'me too', 'no you idiot, it's obviously a mistake' and above all 'everyone quit hitting reply to all!'. I've seen it happen twice because of a guy named Al . Some tries to send a letter to Al Thompson, and the email client autocompletes for them All Thompsons, and BAM, email goes to everyone in the company.

And such is why Distribution lists should be locked down with permissions.

Is this why college is so expensive? Outsourcing sending email to 100 people? There's not one office manager somewhere on campus that can put together an email for 100 people? There's not one college student there that could do it in exchange for 20 bucks of tuition?

Eastern is rather affordable. Tuition is about $7,500 a year; as a comparison, it is $12,000 a year to sends my daughter to daycare.

Heamer: Am I the only one who reads "email" as "uhMALE"? There's a little dash there for a reason. E-mail. Ah, much better.

Probably not, but they're wrong too.

Do you pronounce "enter" as "uhnter" as well? I mean, if you pronounced it "eh-mail" you might have something, but "uhmale?" Nope.

/It's not 'uhlectricity' either
//No, seriously; stop that

That is pretty reasonable for tuition. The daycare also seems pretty decent. My friend who used to complain about what she had to pay for daycare for her oldest. When I broke it down and it came to less than $5 an hour, I asked her why she was complaining that she had to pay less than $5 an hour for somebody to take care of the most precious thing she had.

This. It is pathetic to thinks they need to hire an outside source to wrote their office manager's emails. This is highly disturbing and cringe-worthy.

How do you fail out of EMU? Failing to deal enough drugs or kill enough students in the dorms?

Considering how many presidents they went through in the last decade, it's probably 'do anything while not a Regent or President.'

As someone who is currently receiving 5-10 emails to his school account because someone emailed all graduating seniors and they all keep hitting 'reply all' I'm getting not one single kick.

I'm pushin' 30 and I even I can figure out how to use email you morons!

Some of them have standards, they're not all like Akron.
