Lipspinach: The My Little Pony Killer: fickenchucker: This is just as stupid as the first time these retarded horses were on the scene.

You know how I know you're spouting opinions about something you've never watched?

If I were to start watching My Little Pony where would be a good place to begin?
I am no stranger to childrens programming (had an Arthur thing going on 1-2 years ago. Watched it 4 times a day religiously when unemployed) This sounds like something I may be able to sink my teeth into.

Also, the season 1 finale requires you have seen two previous episodes, those being ticket master, followed by suited for success, which are good episodes, although suited for success can get on people's nerves at times due to all the extra singing.

The pilot episodes are weak.

I would recommend dragonshy, briddle gossip and thr cutie mark chronicles.

Other noteworthy episodes from season 1 include: sonic rainboom, stare master, winter wrap up, party of one and dog and pony show.

Thank you!

Lipspinach: Strategeryz0r: Lipspinach: Yeah I kind of agree with you there (homophobic=gay). It is by no means empirical, but definitely there.

Oh no, it's by no means empirical. Sexual psychology is just one of those fascinating areas where the things we're most ashamed of ourselves, are the things we typically project hate on to. This tends to occur in relation to what people might consider extreme fetishes. Foot fetishes, sadomasochism, food play, etc, etc. More or less anything that isn't sex in the missionary position and nothing else. Hell just ask my wife, she's ashamed of people finding out she does oral sex. Yet she has no problem talking to other people about our sex life as long as it doesn't go beyond just the sex part that EVERYBODY does(because not everyone does oral. *HER WORDS*).

A lot of that is also heavily rooted in America's puritanical culture. Why we're so sexually repressive in this country is just beyond me. It's ridiculous to be so ashamed of something that comes so unbelievably natural. It's part of the human experience, and anyone who has a problem with that needs to be sentenced to 3 weeks in some sort of sex cult to loosen them up. It's one thing to be shy about sex, it's another for an entire culture to make everyone(but mainly women) feel the need to be ashamed of their own sexual desire.

I hear you, brother. What I have found mystifying for the longest time is that
so many guys are obsessed with anal sex & think all chicks should give it up, but freak out at the mention of getting something in their own butt. I mean, women are no more or less equipped for it than guys so what's the big deal. I realize there's 100's of years of male/female role whatevers going on, but FFS it only makes sense. I don't think this is going to change for a loooong time, if ever.

Anyway back to this.

Yea I never got it either. I tried anal, and didn't understand the appeal. For one it hurt my lady, I'm the kind of guy who gets off on her pleasure. I want to see that look on her face of just pure euphoria. And the pain that came from lubing her asshole up like a well greased F-1 car and trying to fark a hole that was designed as an exit only was like strike 1.

Strike 2 is half the fun of the vagina, to me, is the build up. Knowing she's THAT WET because of me it such an insane turn on to me. Basically I always subscribed to the "if it lubricates itself naturally, she might enjoy having it there." Which really only leaves 2 holes, but lets face it. If those are the only 2 that make her feel good or are at least enjoyable to her, then why bother with any others? It's not all about you, and you're going to get off anyway. Whatever happened to the days when men were more worried about pleasuring their woman because, biologically speaking, as a man I'm guaranteed to finish?

If my girl suddenly woke up and said "I farking love anal" I would give it to her as often as she wants. Because if she's getting off, that gets me off basically. But I wont pressure her into something that she flat out told me was extremely painful just because I want it. That's just ridiculous, and selfish if you ask me.

Oh I intended on it. Originally I picked up a DJ Pon-3 shirt because I just love humorous DJ oriented shirts(I have one that's a photoshopped pic of Bruce Lee being a DJ. It's awesome). However, I realized a couple weeks ago I might be on to something. As I wore that shirt and EVERYBODY went freaking crazy over it. They thought that shiat was funny as hell.

So after that I went through some episodes of the show and picked some choice lines to sample. Created my samples, setup my decks, and the following weekend I dropped them to add a little pizzazz to my set.

Guess what?

People went freaking CRAZY. Hardly anyone could actually pinpoint what the quotes came from, but it added just the right mix of humor and connection with the crowd that everybody ate that shiat up.

So I guess you could say I'm starting to roll with the Pony theme for my DJ'ing, because it's getting one hell of a reaction. Though I don't see it as something to keep using all the time. It was more of a "holy shiat if I infuse my house music with pop culture references it gets an amazing response from people" moment. Ponies just happened to illicit the greatest response thus far(though Eastbound & Down comes a close second).

Ticket master is normally a good episode to start with, just not as fun as others, but as an intro episode it tells you enough about the show and the distinct personalities the main characters have.

That said, season 2 has the advantage that they dont have to establish their personality any more, but rather develop instead... In fact, season 2 was what made me like rarity as a character a lot; after that, i went and looked back at her episodes in season 1 and found them to be better than i remembered to be.

I guess its in part because she could be an antagonist in any other series.

Strategeryz0r: Lipspinach: Sun Worshiping Dog Launcher: Huh. Can I infer from this that you're both a closeted, self-hating homosexual and a closeted, self-hating brony? What an interesting combination.

I've got no ponies in this race & the guy is probably an asshole, but
do you really believe that just because someone hates something he is that thing? I don't like mushrooms, does that make me a closet mushroom lover?
Sounds a lot like "I know you are but what am I." Kinda childish.

Except, and I will try to find the studies I'm at work right now so it may take time, it actually does appear to be that way when it comes to homophobia. Not only are some detractors of gays and gay marriages being caught having gay relationships/sex(think Larry Craig[from idaho, this guy was thought of as straight as an arrow]), but there are studies that have shown that those who express homophobic tendencies often times have pent up homosexual desires that lead them to be that way. Any straight person(man or woman) who is completely at ease with their own sexuality would have no need to express such outrage over anyone else's sexual preferences. It's no shock that the most blatantly homophobic people go to extreme lengths to try and prove just how straight they are(or want the world to think they are), whereas straight people at ease with their own desires don't have anything to prove.

I'm not going to say that applies to everyone who's homophobic, as some people just need something to hate apparently. But it is one principle that seems to apply almost exclusively in the realm of sexual desire. People who constantly express S&M is weird and disgusting whenever they see it anywhere(think S&M clubs that spring up during a movie, or seeing a book about it) are often times the ones fantasizing about it the most. Also think about how every woman on earth thinks rape is worse than death. How it's the absolute most evil thing that can be done to them...

Yet rape fantasies are the most common fantasies ...

Unfortunately that seems to have been left at the side of the road with the

more & more with the next few generations. True widespread porn availabilty

Nah, the reason why neither of his children were like him was well explained already. I think the discomfort lies in that apparently Mr. Cakes' first name is Pound. How else can you have newborns?

Close. "Nooooo, I don't want to imagine ponies having sex, not even for a fleeting second. They are magical! Curse you, brain, you've ruined this for me!"

Strategeryz0r: Uchiha_Cycliste: Strategeryz0r: Dinobot: Strategeryz0r: How coincidental that just as I finish my rant about how liking MLP doesn't make you less of a man I get a couple of packages here at my office. Containing my wife's new pinkie pie shirt, and my second DJ Pon-3 Shirt that I intend to use EL Wire on to make glow(performance shirt, I also DJ nightclubs on the weekends)

Just for kicks, you should get the dj pon3 brushable, it is supposed to come out as a toys r us fall exclusive release

Oh yeah?!? "Well in my world, everyone is a pony and they all eat rainbows and poo poo butterflies. "

\Might I suggest you sample that sing/chorus as well?
\\you know, for shiats and giggles.

What episode is it in?

It's not, it's a wholly different song, BUT it fits your theme ever so well.
google "In my world everyone is a pony"

FirstNationalBastard: El Freak: I'm not a brony, but they do get the tiny-penised "manly men" all upset, so I support them.

I also love the fact that the only criticisms that can be found are "UR TEH HOMOGAY! YU NO BE MANLY MAN?!? GROW UP AND STOP BEING GAY!" or "TEH SHOW IS FOR GURLS! GURLS ARE ICKY AND HAVE COOTIES!"

I just don't understand why some guys are so wrapped up in their 1950s definition of masculinity that they get literally angry whenever some other man chooses to not give a shiat about living up to it, as if what other people do is a threat to their masculinity. I don't get the obsession with MLP(though I have watched it and it is a pretty well-made, fun show), but I fail to see how it threatens my masculinity at all that other guys love it, and therefore I don't care. It's no different to me than adults getting wrapped up in Doctor Who, Star Wars or Transformers, which were all also primarily marketed to kids.
