Rex_Banner: Wow - Montero took that one to the track, but the park held it. The Mets hang on for the W

betweent aht shot and I think Kubel's, the Backs were about a cumulative 7-8 feet from two 9th inning HRs. dammit.

idesofmarch: Damnit, now Oakland has too many runs against TB - I need Balfour to get another save today. TB better come back a little.

Only if it's not off Milone. I need him to pitch a scoreless 5th and get the win

R Kelly's Doo Doo Butter: With promising starts from Scherzer yesterday and Porcello today and Fister returning tomorrow Detroit's pitching staff is finally rounding into shape.

I haven't received that trade offer yet, unless it takes a long damn time for them to process.

And that is one of the reasons I like Citi with these dimensions. Close enough for D-Wright and Duda to reach but just far enough away for guys like Montero to miss.

ltdanman44: indians look good.

I'm proud of 'em. Holding the highest scoring team in the AL to two runs on five hits is an accomplishment in itself, but if they keep them off the board for the rest of the game, they'll have only allowed 10 runs for the entire three game series this weekend.

R Kelly's Doo Doo Butter: Scherzer

back in 2010 or whatever, it seemed like everytime I went to the a Snakes game, Scherzer ptiched. I did not want to see him go. his numbers were always deceptive. he'd get into the 6th inning in 90 pitches, but no run support, he leaves, boom, we blow it and he gets NDd / a loss. I thoguht we should have been more patient with him.

he had a knakc for first pitch strikes. aggressive. he seemed like a solid guy. good to hear he's diong well.
