yookaloco: I NEEEEEED to get a clone of this new Wendy's redhead or something. Maybe if I eat at Wendy's enough.

Chances of the Wendy's girl actually eating at Wendy's? Bout the same as Nashville winning their series.

My Internet feed is showing the NHL Center Ice broadcast - I paid for Center Ice but all I get in the playoffs is that they are showing the game on national television, so the Center Ice feed is disabled. Is that just a US thing?

ravenssettle: Silvara: How is that only a two minute? It couldn't be a more obvious targeted head hit if he tried.

Zubris sold the hit.

Yeah, it probably knocked him off his feet, but not down for as long as he stayed. Two minutes is appropriate.

Two minutes and a fine is appropriate, but by the 3rd period the NBC guys will paint Claude as stabbing him repeatedly while shouting "Faggot!"

Donnchadha: Are they adding more words to the "Hey!" song? There is only one word -- it's "Hey!"

/Yes, it's really "Rock and Roll, Part 2", not "The Hey Song"

Yeah, it goes "Doctor Who-o, HEY, Doctor Who, Doctor Who-o, HEY, the TARDIS!"

jurzdevil: RminusQ: jurzdevil: why do they keep saying "special teams"? this isn't handegg.

power play + short-handed = special teams

yeah but in the ~18 years ive been watching hockey i dont think ive heard that term used to describe a pp or pk

That is odd.. The term Special Teams in hockey is about as common as most other hockey terms.. you must think harder.. you've heard it said plenty of times before

Make it super awesome, Devils, a nice 4-0 win for Brodeur's 40th birthday. That'd be cool as Hell.

Gawdzila: Nah. You're wrong.

Lotta effort for a troll. Let it go. Good points though. L.A. has usually been a good hockey market. Been to Staples a couple of times to see my Oilers lose against them, and the crowd is always good. I know two people who have season tickets who don't even live in California, and are dedicated fans.

Gawdzila: Chicago has been 1st in some years and practically LAST in attendance not 3 years earlier.

Chicago fans had a perfectly legit reason to tank their attendance numbers (ask any Bhawks fan about Bill Wirtz).
