Il Douchey: Man On A Mission: And we're supposed to trust a random photograph of the back of an auditorium from Breitbart.com? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

Well, you could trust Obama's own Tumbler post, which brags about a 70% capacity crowd. Face it, the hot lust of hope and promise has become the cold stain of actual performance. His supporters still don't need to worry about putting gas in their car or paying their mortgage, but that's because the car's been reposessed, the house has been foreclosed.

/The dream was always a fantasy, now it's becoming a nightmare

Yep and all of that momentum is heading Mitt's way.

Sort of like a "Mittmentum"?

LOL

EnviroDude: Mugato: No you don't.

You think you know my thoughts? How presumptuous of you.

/when I graduated in the 1980's in my field, you couldn't buy a job. Many of my fellow Petroleum Engineering grads made money grabbing grocery carts at the local market before they could get any job in the oil field, much less practicing engineering (or petroleum geology for those).

Having been recently unemployed, I can empathize for those trying to find work. I ended up taking a "Wendy's Job", a job where you are so desperate to work, you would work at a Wendy's if you had to do it.

So don't be so presumptuous about my history because I criticize Obama and his failed policies.

Who cares what you think? Your just a fast-food working lazy fool, according to what you spew on these boards day in and day out. We judge you by your own standards and find you lacking.

In the short term, sure. Obama is pursuing a long term energy independence policy. It will be longer term than several presidential terms. And we, as a nation, have the attention span of flies.

I'll agree with you on one point: Obama's not about to kick the investment banks out of the oil speculation business. Only Ron Paul would do that, and Ron has no shot at the White House. Which is a pity, because the investment banks have no business packaging and selling oil futures.

Now that is funny. RON PAUL: The candidate for banking regulation!

Perhaps there's less people there because it's a re-run. For example, I didn't go see the latest re-release of "Star Wars" because I've seen it before and know it's good. It still has my vote. My absence certainly doesn't mean I'm abandoning it for "Jon Carpenter."

He doesn't have to as the Bush-era policies were almost 100% continued under Obama. Still, the GOP has presented nothing; especially jobs bills on the jobs platform they ran on in 2010.

Okay, the rear upper tier of seats is empty. I'll give them that.

But the floor is definitely PACKED. Ever been to a concert, idiots? They limit the number of floor tickets, and the back of the floor is always open space (where I, as a confirmed Deadhead, usually end up so I can dance.

If the lower arena is full the whole way around, you can be sure the floor is full.

That's a packed and sold out floor, a sold out lower arena, and possibly some of the upper arena near the stage has people.

Only the back upper seats are known to be empty.

Obviously, Obama sucks.

Oil is back down below $100/bbl now that the Republicans have stopped their dick waving at Iran, and natural gas has been trading close to $2/mmbtu for months (which is basically cheap enough to start putting it in your tires).

We have a greener generation stack that we did in 2009, which has created jobs, but the pace has slowed lately because large renewable companies are worried about what might happen to production tax credits, given that they're scheduled to expire and it's an election year.

So what sucks about his policy again?

Bingo. The only thing he has to worry about is low turnout at this point. If he can get out the vote again, this is a cakewalk of an election.

A'ight, it's on now, biatches!

Yesterday Obama started his campaign in earnest. Appearing before a large group of students in two of his key victory states from 2008, BHO and Michelle showed us what to expect from this campaign season. Which is to say, more hope and change as we expected but also a new and feistier version of Obama who takes direct shots at the now presumptive nominee, Mitt Romney.

Heard a bit of this on my way into work this morning on the CBC.

Obama pointed out that Mitt was "disappointed" that America was leaving Iraq.

Obama pointed out that he had overseen the exit from Iraq.

Obama pointing out that Mitt didn't want to see a timeline for withdrawal in Afghanistan.

Obama pointed out that he announced such a timeline on the anniversary of the one year death of OBL.

Obama pointing out that by Romney's own words if he had been elected in 2008 Osama Bin Laden would still be alive.

And so on and so forth.

Basically, Obama has an amazing record to boast of and his opponent has an indefensible one.

So what does Mitt do in the face of all this? Sends a flunkie to take pictures of a crowd before Obama takes the stage who then sends it out as a tweet where it gets picked up by one of Angry's Andy's zombie followers and turned into a laughably ludicrous "Bad news for Obama" story on not-so-bright-Bart's undead gossip site.

Haven't read the thread yet but I'm pretty sure some morans have bought into the lie, hook, line, and sinker while a few professional trolls have been faking concern like crazy.

2012 is gonna be a battle of the enthusiasm gaps and I believe Obama has it on his side largely thanks to the GOP pissing off every demographic they can find.

GObama!

You are more correct than you realize. It was even mentioned at the Libertarian convention about how dangerous the GOP and the Tea Party are. It used to be that the GOP could depend on our votes. Let's just say that the GOP is about to find out how quickly they will be replaced by a real conservative party. Our party smells blood.

People think that Obama is this magical man with a big red button that says "Press to Create Jobs". He's not. He is like a bolt in a car that is holding up the driver's side door. Just another piece in a complicated machine.
