I liked that, too. She seemed kind of stunned at first, but as she was getting out of the water, you could tell she was okay, and knew this sucker was going viral.

Steeple Chase was invented for things like this. Why else would they have made that a race event?

That girl is a very good sport.

That is a strange sport. It's like Calvinball went all track and field.

The obstacles help them train for the real life event where they race to see who gets to sleep in the master bedroom.

You can tell the blow caused her pain...but then she remembered (or saw) the GoPro cam sitting there and offered up a smile.

/definitely a trooper

A great thing about sports: you get up, get moving, continue. You don't look around for somebody to sue or just point the finger.

Wow. That's even more embarrassing than being a student at BYU.

Whaddaya know, the standard YouTube 1-minute fail vid: 10 seconds of actual vid followed by 20 seconds of slo-mo and 30 seconds of super slo-mo.

Harry_Seldon: Looks like she lost her rider.

See, it's funny 'cuz she looks nothing like a horse.

/It's also funny when it's used on actresses that have become old and not up to studman's standards.

I ran the steeplechase once in high school and while I was never completely submerged under water, my performance as a whole was probably a whole lot less dignified. Hate that stupid race.

Ouch. I caught my trail-leg running the steeple in college. Thankfully it was not over the water jump. I managed to make it about another 10 meters before having to take a few days off.

I loved running the steeple chase in college. Never had a serious accident on the hurdles (only slipped once in the water), but I did see someone smack their knee into the barrier once.

Needless to say, he didn't finish the race.

/those hurdles don't move
//at all

Can anyone explain this feature in a racing event? A stationary hurdle with a swimming pool on the other side? What's the purpose?

Never mind, found it on the wiki.
