Miller needs to get his timing with that right. Diaz keeps dropping his left hand during exchanges.

2012-05-05 09:51:08 PM
Easy first round for Diaz.

2012-05-05 09:51:08 PM
Ooooooooo. this is not looking good for Miller. Getting picked apart and can't get the takedown

2012-05-05 09:51:10 PM
10-9 Diaz

2012-05-05 09:51:47 PM
Holy shiat, Nate is good in scrambles. Miller was probably a bit dazed, but still.

2012-05-05 09:51:54 PM
Clearly 10-9 Diaz

2012-05-05 09:52:17 PM
libranoelrose: The Bestest: so.. does Miller get credited with a takedown for that?

Cat knocked something over in the other room, I missed it.

What happened?

Miller slipped on a kick.

EXTREME!!!!

Yeah, I've mentioned it for events past, but.. I just don't get why Corn Nuts is a huge sponsor of UFC.

/is Fox dumping out of audio?

Man, once Nate frustrates someone then starts talking shiat, it's pretty much over.

libranoelrose: Shiat talking going down.

Can always tell when he's getting ready to. That's when someone should hammer him. Catch him mid sentence.

This some good heel work their Nick.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. Nice win for Nate. He's a tool, but a talented tool

2012-05-05 09:57:08 PM
No, Joe. You don't have to love the way they celebrate.

2012-05-05 09:57:48 PM
Yeah keep talking tough Diaz. It just makes it all the more funny when you get stomped.

2012-05-05 09:58:10 PM
Him and Nick always rattle people psychologically too easily, with all that taunting.

2012-05-05 09:58:37 PM
God I hate the Diaz boys.

Same here. I'd like to see refs start taking points when a fighter does that taunting crap.

Hell its still 50/50 he will pass a drug test.

J. Frank Parnell: Him and Nick always rattle people psychologically too easily, with all that taunting.

It annoys me too, because they have such obvious psychological problems, that if anyone who faced em spent 15 minutes with a sports psychologist, they'd have Nick Diaz running from the ring and Nate crying in a corner.

J. Frank Parnell: Him and Nick always rattle people psychologically too easily, with all that taunting.

They only taunt when they're obviously winning, and from a very safe distance.

Why is he talking like Corky from Life Goes On? Is that normal, or fight damage?

Wut? Why?

Besides, it'll make it so much funnier when one of the Diaz douches get KTFO or submitted

Will Cinco de Mayo become a Puerto Rican holiday from now on if Cotto wins?

I'd like to see refs take points away when fighters continually run away from their opponents.

cut his mic

2012-05-05 10:03:08 PM
Holy shiat. Nate must be taking Alpha Brain.

2012-05-05 10:03:21 PM
My wife just asked me if Diaz is slightly retarded.

2012-05-05 10:03:56 PM
Nate didn't thank me. :(

2012-05-05 10:04:28 PM
no not slightly

2012-05-05 10:04:33 PM
So the ref sticks his thumb in Miller's mouth while he's biting his tongue off.

Nice.

For sure. It's a big reason i was really looking forward to seeing GSP go against one of them. He's the only one who i'm sure would just ignore it, or even take advantage.

I'll take that feed, thanks.

You can tell there are hints of Nate wanting to be a better person, but the influence of his brother just takes hold and drags him back down into derp land.

-----------------------

Yes, Joe. Keep telling network TV viewers how one guy was biting his own tongue off. This will result in no FCC complaints from anti-MMA busybodies.

/kinda badass

I'll just repost my prediction for that fight

"C'mon you Frenchy, you punk, what you got?"

Jab to the mouth

"Oh you think that hurt? You wuss, you got no.."

Jab, overhand right

"Yeah you think that's enough you French..."

Head kick followed by takedown and GnP.

Rinse, repeat for five rounds.

That's a bit of a tougher call. The rules do include a clause about timidity and refusal to engage, but it's pretty rare to see it.

A Condit-like strategy of disengaging, reseting and then attacking is legal and effective. Hard to take points when the guy breaking contact is both out-throwing and out-landing their opponent.

Me too. Ripping on Mayweather is easier if you watch his hand-picked fights.

Very true, but then again it's an easy call to make if the guy retreating isn't doing anything. Condit was backing up a lot, but Diaz kept stepping into his fist.
