One must be properly grounded to make subtle humors..

No, resistance is equal to potential divided by current.

So who here thinks the power company will actually pay up? I bet they'll appeal it to a local circuit court.

That doesn't bode well for the customers. Time will tell how reactive they are.

Although this electrical company isn't all that current, I think they'll have the flux of money to properly discharge and reestablish their voltage in the power supply industry without too much loss of finances to the environment through heated resistance.

I Savart in your general direction, you iBiots

I feel these replies need to be more direct. Current trends suggest we will run out of puns soon. Well, time to go, I need to be in Edison for a quiz bowl. I hope i get these in time for the lightning round.

My apologies, I may have went too far without covering enough area, I don't quite have the capacitance for this topic.

LordPomposity: So who here thinks the power company will actually pay up? I bet they'll appeal it to a local circuit court.

I don't think so. Code violation has set fines for set risks and violations. The only way to win an appeal is to prove the work was done correctly, which it wasn't. They bonded the ground to the neutral. The neutral will become energized any time the two phases are out of balance. Phase imbalance happens a lot in residences since the load can be concentrated on one single phase circuit. Yes, we used to use the ground as a neutral, but some people got hurt or died, so we stopped.

\at least that is how it is here in the States

As long as it stays out of the wave guide, you should be fine. RF going going the wrong way through that tends to overheat parts and lets the smoke out.

It's not news, it's a current event.

I wish the story had been long enough to go into a little more detail on the relevant codes, but I suppose they were only allocated a couple of coulomb-inches.
