One guy is working diligently to make sure I don't have health insurance next year, one is working to make sure I will.
One guy is working diligently to make sure I can't marry the person I love, the other has dropped DOMA defense.
One guy promises to keep the tide rising for the rich while I'm drowning, the other seeks to give people who work hard a chance at a decent life.
One guy wants to lower taxes on investment dividends, one guy wants to lower taxes on work.

They aren't the same unless you're an extremist, in which case they just seem the same because they aren't idiots like you.

This is some Ric Romero-level shiat NPR is blogging. Of course their platform is the same. The difference between the two are little shades, not a single stark contrast. If it wasn't for the partisan hypocritical tripe that makes up most of our political system today, the public would admit to this and realize they should be running mates for each other instead of against each other.

This might seriously be the worst article NPR has ever done and that's saying something.

But just to blow your mind:

Both Obama and Romney "are very successful guys who kind of figured it out," says Mac McCorkle, who teaches the politics of public policy at Duke University.

OMG, THEY'RE TWINS!

"They both have faced major challenges and they both have met those challenges."

Doesn't that describe 95% of all people?

/both seem to enjoy inhaling a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen, while strongly preferring to exhale mostly carbon dioxide

Romney can be the same guy if you want him to be.

Yes, they're exactly the same, except for the things that make them totally different.

What a shallow analysis.
