I had the rabies series about 15 years ago and it wasn't that bad at all. Scared the nurses more than it did me, really. I should have done the toothpaste foam pouring out of the mouth thing when they weren't looking and then chased them around a bit. I totally would have blown it when I started laughing. Or when I got shot by security.

I had to get a bat out of my neighbors house one night a few weeks ago. I tried chasing it out the door with a broom at first, but it just ended up being like that scene from The Great Outdoors. I finally got tired it ducking as it dive bombed me and let it land. Put on some welding gloves and just scooped it up, carried it outside and turned it loose.


You did better than my neighbor then, a couple of years ago I heard shots coming from his house and went over to see if he was ok, I found him standing in the middle of his living room, a smoking .44 chiefs special in his hand, plaster and bat Purée all around him, yes a bat had flown in a open window and freaked him out so bad he grabbed his pistol and shot it, I helped him repair the holes in his drywall (he had to clean up the liquefied bat though), I also had a nice talk with him about what can happen when you shoot a very small animal with a very large gun vis a vis the bullet can travel quite a ways after pulverizing your target, and what would happen to him if my house ended up with holes in it from his late night freak outs...
