IMDWalrus: change1211: I think the idea that the warmer a place is the less likely hockey will succeed is moronic at best. It just doesn't seem like there's enough interest in the team which is a real shame because they're a pretty good team.

There's interest. It's just not like Canada, where the support is there no matter what and we get teams like Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary that are perennially mediocre or bad because they can be.

If some ebb and flow in attendance is what it takes for owners to realize they need to improve the team, then I'm okay with that. And if not...well, "Dollar Bill" Wirtz is proof that some owners just don't give a fark no matter what.

Well hopefully a better owner comes along soon. One that is less terrible hopefully.
