Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?

The co-workers were raising funds that, in part, were intended to be applied towards breast augmentation (Reconstruction). Now they're pissed that is what the money was used for?

2012-05-04 03:21:56 PM
If they were rubes enough to fall for that, then good for her. They needed a lesson in not being so trusting.

What a coont.

FTFA:

Klemis said she does not regret donating time and money to help Toler, stating that her passion is helping those who are sick, and at the time, they thought Toler was.

Um....I think this is a perfect time to feel regret.

/And anger.

I am sure that if she offered the men in her office a little 'peep show', they would readily forgive.

FTFA: Klemis said she does not regret donating time and money to help Toler, stating that her passion is helping those who are sick, and at the time, they thought Toler was.

Klemis added, sotto voce, "And if I said anything more, it might hurt my defense in the upcoming homicide trial."

2012-05-04 03:22:54 PM
Unlike the woman asking for her kidney back, can't these co-workers just ask for the implants?

Article fails without pics of said boobs.

I would argue the biatch is still sick. She just never had cancer. Sounds like the people who donated money to her agree with me.

/This sort of lie is a sign of a serious mental illness.

2012-05-04 03:23:35 PM
Well, praise the lord she is now still cancer free!

2012-05-04 03:23:38 PM
Also 8g's is a lot for an augmentation - prices have fallen to the 5g range for a really good set. Cheapies are about 3g from a in/out chop shop

People who fake having cancer should wind up getting Panamanian Butt Herpes.

She came back to work with no cancer. Were her coworkers hoping she'd come back WITH cancer instead?

You're on the Internet. Pics of boobies are easier to find than well...anything really.

2012-05-04 03:24:11 PM
At this point is office harassment justified and not frowned upon?

Obviously she needed the extra 3 grand to upgrade her wardrobe to accommodate the new set.

Seriously. Her co-workers got exactly what they paid for. No cancer and new boobies.

Now here is a person so vile and detestible that she actually deserves cancer.

Well. They believed it was because she was going to have a double mastectomy first, which would leave her disfigured and requiring reconstruction to look normal.

Instead, she got cosmetic surgery to turn her fried egg boobs into beach balls.

Theres kind of a betrayal of trust there.

The term "nice boob job" is an oxymoron, Submitter.

Well, that settles it...

Big boobs cure cancer

If she took a dime from an insurance company or the state for disablity or long term sick leave or any other reason, she'll get hers back in spades.

What's up with her left eye?

Being unattractive is kind of a cancer.

they should rip her tits off.

/something a football player I used to know would say.

//I'm not paying six thousand dollars for used, fake, boobs.

Well, new boobs and cancer-free IS the outcome they were hoping for, right? She just guaranteed them their money's worth.

If y'all give me some donations I'll be cancer-free in six months no problem. EIP

2012-05-04 03:35:23 PM
Ummmm.... $8000 for a double mastectomy and reconstruction? And the money was donated by her co-workers from the hospice she worked at? They should have known better.

And TTIUWP.

/of the boob job that is.

2012-05-04 03:35:26 PM
So... it worked?

2012-05-04 03:36:48 PM
For what it's worth, I agree with those who say the betrayal of trust is the issue here. And I'd cut the woman's co-workers some slack for being a bit gullible. If I recall correctly, they are caregivers at a hospice. Those are folks I would expect (and hope) to be compassionate to others in need.

Maybe the bigger question is, why do so many women, and men, seem to prefer fake boobs over real ones? Don't get me wrong, I like the way girls look with nice large knockers, too. But artificial breasts just never feel right to me. I'd even go so far as to say a natural pair of 34A cups are more satisfying to hold than a couple of silicone 36DD bolt-ons. Obviously, that's just one man's opinion though. Either are fine if the lady has the right personality.

\\can't imagine many jobs much tougher than trying to make the terminally ill more comfortable in their last days.

jonjr215: Now here is a person so vile and detestible that she actually deserves cancer.

Mmm, still no. But some sort of issue with the fake boobs would be karma-suitable. Leakage, infection, something like that that forces her to go back in and have them removed or replaced--at her own expense.

/ cancer sucks

That's really, really low if this is true. If found guilty of fraud, she should be given a community sentence to do work at a hospital in addition to being made to pay that money back.

2012-05-04 03:38:51 PM
According to the donation site, she only raised $1200...

Link

/really screwed over her friends and family

It's not that we prefer fake boobs over real ones. It's that we prefer big boobs over small ones.
