It was on a site called ShortList.com and was a short list. I welcome it.

Fine, fine, even if I granted you that language evolves and changes on it's own, where did it all start then, huh smart guy?

Um...these peoople are aware that there was an actual 8-bit Star Wars game for the NES, right?

Now -- if this were an 8-bit retro game featuring steampunk zombie-fied Star Wars characters, this article would have hit for the home run of played-out geekery.

3 of them. They were released in that awkward period where the NES was still producing games, but the SNES was out if I remember correctly.

I had the NES games, but not the SNES games.

You know there were actual 8-bit Star Wars games created in the '80s, right? And that you don't have to pretend?

I am so farking tired of everyone calling anything where you can see pixels "8-bit". You are wrong and should shut the fark up.

Please just call it "Low Def" or "Old School" or something. Calling it 8-bit makes you look like you don't actually know a farking thing about graphics.

That was pretty much the anti-thesis of geekgasm. C'mon Fark don't fail me.
Geek girl thread? Pics of the chick from Mythbusters would be a good start.

Yeah, I've got a working copy of the Atari Empire Strikes back game WITH the box. Basically like new. And a Sears console to play it on. Yep. It's pretty sweet.
