I would pull Bryz. But that's just me.

2012-05-03 08:05:19 PM
Oof. But Philly seems to like to come back from ridiculous deficits, so NJ can't get too excited yet.

So being down by one goal is a ridiculous deficit? Makes sense.

Simmonds needs an attitude re-alignment.

Whoa, this game was 1-0 Flyers when I turned the car radio off, by the time I got inside and turned on the TV it was 2-1 NJ. Playoff hockey is awesome.

2-1 New Jersey after 20!

Great work, Devils. 2 more periods just like that, except the whole "Flyers scoring once" thing. None of that.

Hmmm. Enterprise NHL commercials feature Vancouver, St. Louis, and Philly. Vancouver is out, St. Louis is down 2-0, and Philly is playing like a Squirt 5 team. Is there such a thing as the Enterprise curse?

2012-05-03 08:18:58 PM
heh.. Flyers should seriously just move away from the net when the puck drops at the beginning of the game.

let the other team score

In the past, what have the results been with the team that scores first?

Donnchadha: Here we are, 5 hours before the first puck drop, and this thread has more posts than last night's NBA thread.

Yet, ESPN spends much more time on the NBA than the NHL.... perhaps they should change their investment strategy.

But, but, but....BLACK PEOPLE.

/maybe ESPN should realize there are some really talented black players in the NHL
//that won't happen
///probably can't secure Mike Grier to a low-level analyst contract
////making Vodka Penne, be back in an Hr.
