She refused to give him blowjobs 216 - 222 times?

She has to be furious. Her species has been staging the invasion force on the dark side for 14 cycles now.

Don't sell yourself short, Newt. You didn't have clever comments to begin with.

She is so getting dumped.

Mr. Coffee Nerves: She has to be furious. Her species has been staging the invasion force on the dark side for 14 cycles now.

It's okay though. She will feast on the heart of a virgin, sleep the deep sleep for another cycle and awaken to take a new, more powerful mate. One less prone to tantrums and large bellies.

Actually it's one of the smartest things he said... or, if you remove whining about the debate moderators, one of the only things he said.

Ya know, Newt... it probably was.

2012-05-03 09:20:45 AM
It might not have been your most clever moment, Newt, but it wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back on this campaign.

I believe your audacity to campaign for president was what sank your campaign.

Nah, she'll hire this guy for some pointers and get right back into her service-oriented job.

ASlyLittleFox: Ya know, Newt... it probably was.

This. Wasn't a bad long term goal. The vast majority of most of the other stuff you spewed was equivalent to what comes out of my youngest son's arse when his stomach is upset (seriously, its like liquified evil with a smell that could kill a bull elephant at 50 paces)

I actually like the idea of having an ambitious President who strives to push this country to achieve greatness, rather than the current crop of leaders (Pres, Congress, et al) who seem to spend most of their time naval gazing rather than seriously driving this country to greatness. The Moon Colony plan was in the plus column for Gingrich, in my opinion.

2012-05-03 09:23:44 AM
In a campaign cycle that set the gold standard for batshiat crazy it's all just part of the din. You'd of had to out-crazy Cain, Perry and Bachman to make an impression.

But enjoy the book tour.

2012-05-03 09:25:02 AM
It was silly to talk about moon bases when people couldn't find earth jobs, but it was a fairly good idea in the abstract, and I did not fault him for it.

2012-05-03 09:26:00 AM
I think this is just as relevant today as it was literally yesterday (repost). Newt, here is how we really feel about you:

coeyagi: I am going to take the infamous Kos post approach:

These motherfarking, dickeating, maggot-slurping tax-evading queer fearing mooslim-hating poor bashing regulation-hating environment loathing Bible thumping piles of rancid shiat need to man up to the bigoted rhetoric they keep raking up and apologize for the craptastic displays of ignorance that is inherent in their hypocritical gerrymandering assholish devilishly evil characters.

(musical interlude - Rage Against the Machine)

If they could get that fat f*ck Jerry Falwell out of their puckered asses for more than the 2 seconds they use to fact-check their statements (Jon Kyl - eat my taint, you twunt), I think you'd find, perhaps, that they aren't the abhorrent gun-toting redneck bigots that you and I think they are but in fact soulless burlap bags of carbon and shiat that will do anything to hold onto the mighty dollar while simultaneously balloonknot-f*cking anyone and everyone who dares to call them out for their shenanigans.

God, that whole speech was just a bucket of verbal diarrhea. He talks like the smartest fourteen year old in a terribly average debate class.

kind of funny seeing how NASA was seen as a waste of money by most conservatives.

This is a choice between Mitt Romney and the most radical leftist president in American history.

Who the hell is he talking about? Obama is "radical left" only if you are a fascist.

"My wife has pointed out to me approximately 219 times, give or take three, that moon colony was probably not my most clever comment in this campaign," he continued. "I thought, frankly, in my role as providing material for 'Saturday Night Live,' it was helpful."

Remarks like this make me sort of almost like Gingrich a little. Then I remember everything else he's ever said or done.

That would never work. JUSUS would start going to the moonbase, but would go off course and start all the wars in the world.

Also, Newt, don't beat yourself up too much over your wife saying you had a bad idea. After all, she thought blowing you was a good idea, so what the fark does she know?

2012-05-03 09:38:16 AM
At least he had one idea that would have brought humanity forward, if it would have actually happened. I mean, it was something he blurted out without having consulted anyone who understands aerospace, astronautics, or any of the scientific or engineering disciplines needed to understand what a massive project like that would take. Of course, all that gubmint spending would never happen under his watch, at least not on science or engineering, because they'd have no money after he gave another tax cut to those bootstrappy job cr'aturs. There would, however, be lots of money for more wars and new gov't agencies similar to the TSA that do would nothing useful and infringe upon the citizens of the U.S. Oh, and don't forget investigations of judges that make rulings that he doesn't like.

2012-05-03 09:41:13 AM
EVERYONE! Stop saying that the moon base was a good idea to bring humanity together (even though it was). You and I weren't voting for him in the primaries! He needed to basically say Obama was a ni*bong and he didn't, he needed to say that he was going to name the Holy Spirit as the Secretary of State and he didn't, but most importantly he needed to say that the military needed to INVADE the moon and he didn't.

Obama gets made fun about rainbows and unicorns and you're all jerking off with glee over a moon base?

You have any idea how hard that will be? How long it will take? How much it will cost? If we started right now, this very moment, we might have something workable in 30 years or so.

Don't tell me that. Back in the 70s, we were almost positively sure we'd have a moon base by the year 2000.

I honestly think that Gingrich only stayed in to make sure that Santorum didn't win the nomination because Santorum would have had his arse handed to him in a general election.
