People, this is why China is becoming a superpower.

2012-05-02 09:50:15 PM
Are you folks over there having a "Who can be the most stupid?" contest? Because it's getting pretty ridiculous. :-/

2012-05-02 09:51:15 PM
Well, it's been pretty ridiculous for a LONG time, but every time you think "No, this is as stupid as it can possibly get", someone more stupid comes along and broadcasts even deeper stupidity to the world.

Hell, the thought of China becoming the world's pre-eminent superpower bothers me less and less every day.

Kardashian told the New York Daily News she is impressed by "Rick Santoro [sic] and his daughters," apparently referring to the former Pennsylvania senator.

"I like the family connection," Kardashian said ahead of the 2012 White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday.

so she doesn't know the guy's actual name and is impressed because he has a family. wonderful.

we REALLY thought that Bush 2.0 had won that contest for all time. But the GOP decided to give it another whirl.

I would be impressed with Kim Kardashian if she could look at a map of the world and tell me which half was north.

I will be waiting eagerly to hear more about her "political aspirations"

That would explain why she was a guest of Fox News at the White House Correspondent's Dinner.

She was using a conjugation of his Latin surname maybe?

She's probably encountered Santorum on more than one occasion.

Well, she was the guest of FOX News at the press banquet. And she is a fine symbol of all things that contemporary Republicanism has come to mean.

Kim, you're supporting a guy who actively wants to ban pornography, when the only reason you're famous at all is that you're the deadweight on the bed during a mediocre sextape with Brandy's brother.

This is perhaps the most interesting example of a right-winger voting against his/her economic self-interest.

China is becoming a superpower because they imprison people who say things like that. It's easy to advance the goals of a nation if you don't ever take into account the goals of your citizens.

Bwahahaha, she probably thinks conjugation is another word for birth control.

But seriously Kim, even though you are impressed with him, I doubt he would be very impressed with you since you date black men. .

We should encourage this. Get her and her entourage and party friends to all think Santorum is a cool guy and worth partying with. Then have a "fundraiser" with Santorum as the guest of honor. Make sure there are plenty of video cameras running. It would be epic. Either Santorum will end up getting his freak on, or he will end up freaked the f*ck out.

Either way makes for hilarious video. :D

From the video: she's a Democrat (as are her sisters) and voted for Obama. Parents are/were Republican.

I don't know much about her myself, I've never watched any of the reality shows she's been on, unless you count the one video with Ray-J. She was pretty good in that.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that her support of the Democrats is as shallow as her support of the Republicans.

The problem with democracy is that it makes my knowledge as valid as your ignorance.

We should have a representative government. If we are a nation of idiots, we should have idiots in Congress. The problem is that less than half of us vote, so we have a country run by lobbyists. If we had 100% turnout, and that includes plenty of idiots, legislators wouldn't dare get bought. With turnout under 50%, we'll never know how well democracy could work.

Vote. Even if you're an idiot and there's no way your guy can win.
