"The new trucks are in? Are they amphibious? Only one way to find out!"

It's the good thing the pond was shallow or it would have become a pool of garbage juice. Although I have a hard time believing it didn't leak. I've seen juices pouring out of garbage trucks on dry land.

One of the worst things that has ever happened to me while riding my bike was getting momentarily stuck behind a garbage truck on the interstate. In the short amount of time I spent behind it, it hit two potholes, giving me and my bike a nice garbage shower. Nasty.

I wish the ones in my town would all drive into the river and stay there (yes despite the pollution factor), or better yet the scrap yard. They're at least 20 years old, rusty, incredibly loud when braking/starting/crushing, and they definitely leak a steady dribble of rancid fluid. I rode my bicycle to the post office one time, just over a mile each direction, and discovered it was garbage day in that area. Nearly fell off the bike trying to avoid the liquid and puddles where it had stopped, and man the smell... ugh. I realize it's garbage, it's going to smell, but there's no excuse for leaking it back on the street for their entire route.

And yet the company has the balls to raise the rates they charge the town both years since I moved here; I think 10% the first year and then 8% this year. Maybe if they bought newer trucks, they'd see savings in the long run since they get about 4 miles to the gallon...

/endrant, sorry

Our garbage trucks! Where are they? Answer that one, Herr Goering! The Ohioans have plenty of them! Talking big is all he's good for, that fat slob.

Garbage doesn't smell good, but the way you guys are actig, you'd think you'd found a dead body left in a Miami car park. I am not discounting the stench, but there are plenty of nastier smells that will make you vomit faster. Off topic, but can anyone explain why the sight of gore doesn't induce the gag reflex like smelling raw sewage does?

I also read the h/l as "underwear."
Lends nerw meaning to "cum dumpster."

Just a hypothesis: Raw sewage is likely to induce a gag reflex in order to prevent it from being ingested, which can cause all sorts of diseases in humans (Cholera, etc.). Gore, on the other hand, is a natural consequence of hunting for food, something that man and his ancestors have been doing for hundreds of thousands of years.

yes.

Actually that happened when I was living in a college town some years ago. Caused a real ruckus what with a trash man and frat boys both collecting panties. The cops didn't know who to arrest or who stole which panties.
