Congress and I have certainly had our differences, yet I've tried to be civil, to not take any cheap shots... that's why I want to especially thank all the members who took a break from their exhausting schedule of not passing any laws to be here tonight.

Dear Fark, I need help running for office. I would like to be a representative from Colorado. I have MS, and it sucks, my drugs cost (on average) three times what I make in a month... on the good months, I can get all three of the cheapest drugs, but not the fourth... in the bad months, I have to pick which one matters the most. The only problems with electing me are that I'm a rather disagreeable fellow, I've done porn, I'm a-ok with smoking pot and quite open about it being far cheaper and more effective than two of my four MS drugs. I'm for things like means-testing medicare and social security, ok with eliminating tax loopholes so that nobody pays a tax rate of less than 20 percent, and I'd like to implement a tax system that taxes income from work and income from investment the same, so we could have a lower payroll tax and income tax. I support a public option in healthcare, though I don't support mandatory single-payer. Lastly, I will scream out "that's not what that means!" every time someone, even in the halls of congress, improperly uses the word "literally."

Just wait for it. There's going to be a company that specializes in re-defined rape and reading constitutions out loud, and when that company gets started, it'll have just enough tax cuts and funding from the leftover money that otherwise would have gone to Planned Parenthood and NPR, and sure enough, this economy's going to take off like a rocket.

But whatever you do, don't pay it any attention, because creating jobs is apparently like peeing. You can't do it if you think somebody's watching you.
