Hey - give the guy a break - his sister stutters and his son keeps trying to kill himself...

If The Atom ever tried to fool with my cats, I'd probably find him later in a hairball full of red and blue chunks.
I just hate stepping on those.

Green Lantern appears to be....giving his nemesis the Ring Middle Finger.

I can't believe I never heard about this gem until today.

Wow. Just...wow.

I've seen early made-for-SciFi Channel TV movies with better production values than that. If there's ever a MST3K revival, that has to be at or near the top of the list for mocking.

EXACTLY what I thought when I saw the still shots.

I don't know how I managed to not know about this when it was on. When I saw the headline, I assumed it was references the Legends of the Superheroes show from the 70s (Link). Looks about the same quality, though.

Even shiatty SyFy flicks from The Asylum trump it.

For some reason the headline kills me. Major Winchester as a super villain in a Z- production? I just came off a MASH kick too.

/Frank Burns was still the best.

There is the occasional crime fighting, but the majority of this movie is watching the Justice League members comically (and painfully) deal with the trials of everyday life in New Metro City.

So ... The Tick?

I'm glad I missed that one

Lolz. I remember this mess. Weather Wizard was the baddie, IIRC. Also the chick playing Ice, or Ice Maiden, or whichever name they were using for Tora, wasn't bad to look at.

Though this has nothing on Dan Poole's legendary Death of Gwen Stacy fan film from the mid 90's. I have that badboy on VHS from some old convention. Good times. Also decent production values. Has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, as I remember I think they were attempting to emulate the BWAHAHAHA! JLA / Giffen & DeMatteis era and ... well, you see how it ended up.

If it was handled properly, I'd totally watch a TV show based on that era of JLA.

But you'd have to have a production budget of higher than $100, unlike this show.

That's what I'm hoping for with the recently announced Booster Gold TV show. That said, since the show would be on SyFy the budget for it would be, adjusted for inflation, probably around $100.00.

I actually paid cash money for this at a convention.

I can watch some horrible things, but I can't get myself to sit through this.

oh...wow. I just watched it. Not bad for a homemade job. Seriously. For an hour clip, its not bad at all.

Pros: Poole does a good job as both Pete and Spiderman. The Spiderman action shots are extraordinary considering what he was working with.

The guy who plays the Goblin was good...as the Goblin. More on that later.

Goblins costume was good, once again, considering...

The scene when Norman first comes home really reminds me of the scene in Rami's Spider-man when Osbourne first realizes he is the goblin. Well done indeed.

Cons: Outside of poole and the goblin guy, the acting is universally terrible. This includes the Goblin when he is 'Norman Osbourne'. "harry, my son?" indeed. Sheesh.

Spideys mask is pretty freakin funny. The rest of the costume is meh.

That freaking goblin glider...I know it's instrumental to the story, but I think I would have just left it out rather than go with what he rigged up. I cracked up a couple times watching it.

Other than that, like I said, pretty damn impressive for a fan flick.

The problem is that a shapeshifter really wouldn't have a gut unless he chooses to have a gut. His appearance is totally up to him, and the normal MM appearance isn't his natural appearance, so why would he choose to make himself look fat?!?!

Y'know what's fun? This and the Roger Corman Fantastic Four as a double feature. I wasn't allowed to pick movies for like a year after making my friends sit through those.
