ESPN bought some articles from someone who appears to have been a scammer! OH NO!!!

Here's a hint to dipwads on the internet: random people saying you owe them sh*t are full of it.

If a third party says you're doing something illegal and offer to host a 3rd party solution instead of contacting the actual owners of something, they're lying.

If someone says you "owe them" because they took your advice on a bet and lost, you should never contact them again, even if you have actually met that person in real life, because at best, they're a worthless piece of sh*t.

Even if it's not a coverup, it's not even worth reporting. They don't do stories about actual columnists when they leave, why would they do one for a scarcely-read scam artist?

This is Deadspin doing what Deadspin does, find "scandal" when other people get jobs they wanted, they criticize them. Sure, this one kind of has a story, but ultimately it's pretty meh. A couple of fools were parted from their money. And some people read some articles possibly thinking that a chick was a chick when instead she was a dude! Oh no!
