But the right has become so irrational that it becomes a target for all rational beings. I have had my disagreements with people on the left on Fark. Well of course, and certain conservatives, the ones actually making money, are extremely rational. There are even some Tea Party people who are incredibly rational about their reasons for wanting to pay no taxes. The problem is that in any society you're going to have people who view our responsibility to do the best for as many people as possible, and some that are rational to the point of wanting only what they want for themselves. You could even argue that wanting the greater good for everyone is irrational, although I would disagree - there are some really interesting game theory economics on the subject. At some point your greed will be your undoing.
