I think the team ketchup people are winning somehow.

We need to murder them.

I'm not saying I prefer ketchup, but it is good with relish and a hot dog. Chipotle mustard and sauerkraut is probably my favorite.

Goddamnit. Now I'm rethinking my gyro. Sonofabiatch.

Where would you go for a gyro downtown? Dixie Gyro closed. The place always smelled like dirty mop water, but the gyros were awesome.

1000 island is mayo, ketchup and relish. It's what small children put on salads.

It's this brand. Amazon has it too but I've seen it in stores sometimes.

I don't get the irrational backlash for ketchup. Especially pertaining to hotdogs. It's ground up chunks of animal that aren't good enough for regular cuts of meat.

Being a snob about it is like criticizing people with Down's Syndrome for using crayons on their drawings instead of something higher class like markers or colored pencils.

I'm not disputing that. I like hot dogs too, but it's not in the same class as kobe beef steaks or anything. I just don't get why people get so upset about what people put on a lowest common denominator food.

Most children eventually outgrow the condiment of children (and fries*). Some don't. It's not worth fighting over it.

As for bagging on relish: Sweet or dill? This is a critical distinction.

*European farkers have an inexplicable love of mayo and mustard for fries. Again, no biggie.

/But poutine? Purify the abusers with fire, eh.

I'm glad to find out that there are other sensible, ketchup-eating people here.

I prefer ketchup and cheese on hot dogs. But really, hot dogs aren't good. On sausages, I will put cheese only. Or cheese and ketchup. Depends on if there is some or not. Maybe BBQ sauce.

Mustard, onions, and relish are awful. Every once in a while I'll think "dammit, mustard can't be that bad. Maybe I don't think it's terrible anymore." Then I lament the ruining of everything it touches.
