It's too early to make predictions, but I don't think the American people are that stupid - and the early electoral polling indicates that Mitt is going to get his ass wiped - so right now, things look great for Obama, and the Dems in the Senate. The GOP is looking to suck a big one in 2012, and it's well deserved for their continued embrace of shiatty, failed, disproven right wing policy. And of course, that's only when the GOP can be bothered to deal with the economy at all - all they actually do when given power is try to make laws against abortion and birth control and gay marriage and porn.
Neoconservatism has failed. man up. Admit it. Then, we can talk. But I have no patience for further discussion based on the premise that utterly failed conservative economic policies are somehow going to work if we just do them this one more time - that's insanity by definition.
