Weaver95: EnviroDude: Obama has forgotten that he got his SEALS killed in Afghanistan months later Not good form to use them as political tools

*ahem*

[upload.wikimedia.org image 220x215]

nobody seemed to care about it then.

Back then, The President had decided we'd won and bin Laden wasn't worth going after, so who cared if anyone else was dead in collaterally related damage? Now that bin Laden is dead, you see, every American life is worth more than gold crusted diamond plated golden diamonds if used in a GOP election ad.

So... does that make Mitt a one-man human centipede?

SilentStrider: Like I've been saying. He's John Kerry 2.0. Same lack of charisma. Same inept campaign. Same image as a flip-flopper.
Hell, there's even a physical resemblance there.

Kerry was at least a war hero. While Kerry was risking his life for his country, Romney was sipping latte in France.

GOP talking point: 'Obama is exploiting the military!'

everyone else: 'um..but didn't Bush do that with his 'mission accomplished' banner and landing on an aircraft carrier to give a political speech?'

GOP shills: [dead silence for 10 minutes] 'YOU SHUT UP YOU SOCIALISMS COMMIE ABORTION....ABORTION...THING PERSON!' [runs out of the room crying]

everyone else: [uncomfortable silence]. 'well...ok, then.' [people shifting in their seats, background chatter mumbling in background]. 'another round of beer then home for then night?' [general assent from crowd].

timujin: The Romney people are quite obviously put out that Obama's team doesn't recognize the ability Mitt has to hold all positions at all times. When he said he wouldn't go into Pakistan, when he said it was a waste of money to track bin Laden down, he meant it. He also meant he would go into Pakistan and that no amount of money was too much to find Osama.

I mean, duh, come on libtards, you know better than this.

Mitt Romney is the quantum candidate. Even he doesn't know what he stands for until he says it.

soy_bomb: I hope Obama keeps this line going.

FTA:

'In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn't allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.'

Yeah conspiracy theorists and Republicans ranting about Obama. Nice going there daily fail.

I don't think Romney understands just how hard a row he has to hoe. I mean, it's hard to defeat incumbent presidents anyway, and one as popular as Obama is, is doubly more so. Does he really think there's enough "HURR DURR SEND THE NIG*BONG* BACK TO KENYA" people in this country who will vote for him?

NateGrey: Obamas second term agenda:

I don't think Obamao can cancel future elections. However he will nominate likes of Anita Dunn to the SCOTUS and the senate will approve them in name of bi-partisanship. The result will be 30+ years of free abortions on demand, free contraception's to all, 10 million more on food stamps, higher taxes on small businesses, Billions given as gift to Muslim countries, Israel left to wither on the vine, 4 more years of Eric Holder and law suits against AZ type immigration laws, more Stimulus to state union workers, kill Keystone pipeline, cancel oil drilling on federal lands and 100 Czars to control our everyday lives.

And of course the grand daddy of all, nationwide socialized healthcare.

This is what Republicans actually believe!

Except for the extra-crazy part about "100 Czars to control our daily lives", I'd be OK with all that.

Weaver95: Romney is in some serious trouble. Obama just plain outclasses the guy. Romney, on the other hand, seems to be handicapped by idiotic staffers and his own lack of personality.

"Outclassed" is right. So far, Obama's managed to get Romney's campaign to A) keep talking about Obama's major foreign policy successes, and B) acknowledge that his party is engaged in a war on women. Oh, and C), Romney keeps putting himself right into the position of having to explain his different day-to-day positions on just about everything.

As a democrat, it feels really weird to be on the side with the far superior messaging. I expect that we'll at least flirt with pulling defeat from the jaws of victory once again, but it's nice while it lasts.

It means that he thinks that SEAL team members criticizing Obama for taking credit for the raid, even though they admit he doesn't take all the credit for it and Obama was actually involved in making several critical decisions about the mission that effected it's outcome, will hurt his image. Which it will among people as poorly informed as Daily Mail readers.
