preeeeeetty sure Mikel just blatantly elbowed Cheick Tiote in the face and didn't even have a foul called him.

Yeah, about 10 minutes prior, Tiote blatantly elbowed Mikel in the face and didn't even have a foul called on him, either.

Tiote off on a stretcher. Mikel should be getting a suspension for this, it was pretty blatant in my opinion.

except for the fact that he barely grazed Mikel and Mikel made a complete meal out of it. You'll notice how Mikel was up within seconds and Tiote is now in a stretcher. Think there was a bitttttttt of a difference there.

I don't disagree; However, just saw the Tiote one earlier and it looked just as blatant. The only real difference was the effect.

26 years since NUFC have won at Stamford Bridge. Incredible.

2012-05-02 04:44:09 PM
According to the BBC text commentary Tiote is OK on his feet and watching the rest of the game.

I was taking them vs City on Sunday earlier today, and I'm not changing my mind.

Cisse's goal, which the FA will remove post haste in line with their policy of being total fartknockers.

It obviously goes without saying that I hope Newcastle win on Sunday, but aside from all that, I hope they make the Champions League. They're a credit to the league when so many teams around them (and not) have had embarrassing seasons.

I pity the fool who has to choose between Crouch and Cisse for Goal of the Season.

Seminorm Null: OMG CISSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

He was bought for, what, £7 million? If Ba were scoring at his pace pre-2012 they'd probably be battling both of the Manchester clubs for the title.

I want to say Newcastle might be everyone's dark horses for the title next season, but if they're involved in the Champions League that'll dent those aspirations.

No one has any business even hitting a shot like that, let alone scoring. What a stunner.

As we supporters say about Arsenal: You can't buy class!

And THAT was world-class.

Agreed, when you look at a club that came up from Championship just a year earlier, and now vying for Champions League football, they really have been a great club. Alan Pardew has done a fantastic job with them.

Ajax are champions.

Juventus (still unbeaten) lead by one point with two games left.

Madrid are leading 2-0 at the moment and will win the title with a victory. Could reach 100 points.

2012-05-02 05:04:25 PM
You know what. If we lose Cisse, I'm going to be absolutely farking devastated.
