Thank you ESPN3 at work.

My vote is for the meteor option. Barring that, United please.

2012-04-30 01:28:55 PM
I'll take City. Mainly because I want to see Piers Morgan shiat himself if Nasri picks up the title.

2012-04-30 01:29:10 PM
Completely random score prediction for today's match:

Man City 2-3 Man Utd

Doubling down on the guesswork, since it's random anyway:

City goals: Tevez, Aguero
Utd goals: Rooney (2), Nani

United to take an early 2-0 lead. City to battle back in the last 20 min only for the ref/black magic/total luck to hand United a third goal and seal the game.

This.

This is going to be a fantastic match. I can't wait. Both teams will be going all in. United can get revenge from their embarrassing defeat earlier in the season and wrap up the title in one shot. City can go level on points, but take the top of the table on goal differential.

Any major injuries for either side? I don't think City has anybody injured, but I might be mistaken.

2012-04-30 01:42:52 PM
Eh, so long as Arsenal doesn't have to participate in the play-in rounds for the Champions League, let Manc/Manc have it out.

I half suspect City will win today, but United will take the title when City subsequently lays an egg against QPR or someone like that...

In any event, here's to a good game for the neutral fans.

2012-04-30 01:46:47 PM
Also, I'm in a good mood because Podolski finally confirmed that he's coming to Arsenal next season. That's huge, especially if Robin decides to move on. I'd love to see RvP retire in an Arsenal shirt, but I'll understand if he wants a bigger final contract payday than Arsenal can give him.

2012-04-30 01:53:16 PM
I suppose i'll have to be the first to mention it.

Roy Hodgson looks like he will be the next England manager. If he does get the job then the Sun must be pissed, what with all the evidence they have on Redknapp that they were going to publish during the Euros.

This is one of those things where I wish EPL were more like professional wrestling, where the winner may win, but then a "contender" pops out of the tunnel and challenges them to a cage match, and the title can magically change hands.

Then the Undertaker shows up.

This is my way of saying GO GUNNERS.

So you're rooting for Chelsea to lose to Bayern? Because I'm pretty sure that if they do win that game, they get to skip the play-in rounds and bump the 3rd and 4th place teams down a slot.

If I'm wrong, please let me know.

Correct. This is why if Tottenham finishes 4th in standings, I am praying to every deity that Chelsea win UCL.

Looks more like a 4-5-1 to me. Rooney is the only real forward in the line-up. I think Giggs is more of a central midfielder now, and Nani is a traditional winger.
