It seems United are content with a draw given the line-up, which makes, really.

Park and Jones? My word!

Much like the team in recent weeks, I've totally lost my bottle.

the non-mancs to win, in the 8th minute of fergie time. it's a shame webb isn't in charge of this game, since it means united will only get to field eleven men.

Really hope shiatty wipes the floor of ManUre

It would be really funny if after all the build-up and talk of this being the title decider City won and then lost to Newcastle next week.

City looks nervous. They need some positive possession in the United end to get their bearing in this game.

Looked up to ESPN as it was on Sportscenter all morning and saw that this game was on. I don't get the opportunity to watch much, but it should be an entertaining afternoon.

We going to get a garbage time goal here or just swing into half 0-0?

It's almost like every city player is suffering from some incredible phobia to put a ball into a net as every chance they get they freeze up and just shuffle their legs for 10 seconds.

City are going to have to get a lucky bounce on a break if they're to score today.

2012-04-30 03:45:15 PM
I'm convinced that it doesn't matter what happens in the first 90, united will find a way to win in fergie time

2012-04-30 03:45:31 PM
destined for tevez to score and confront fergie and mancini on the touch line

For all of you that are cheering against United (most of you) why pick City over them? I guess the obvious choice is that United has won so many titles or that you are a Liverpool fan. Seems weird to cheer for a team that is basically a fantasy team purchased by a billionaire (I realize United is not much different, but at least they have some local players).

I totally agree with you. On paper...I hate Citeh way more and have much less respect for them. But as you said, I'm a liverpool supporter and don't want them to get #20 on top of having a season where Liverpool win more trophies than ManU.

Smalling was poor for the goal. United had coped remarkably well without Vidic, but really missed him in the last 1.5 games. Unsuitable, defensive style is asking for trouble.

cool, now i have something to go along with the gamecast here at work

reminds me of watching the last clasico at a hotel in puerto rico. they had espn deportes playing on a channel that was listed as a fox, but without any sound, so i found the game on the radio (even though i speak no spanish, it was a welcome addition)

Honest question: How much more has City spent running their team over the last 10 years than United has spent running their team over the last 10 years? From what I understand, and I could be wrong, United created and maintains the model of buying championships.

Haha, Hart making some mistakes for a change. I hope it throws him off his game.

/dislike United less than City

I have only a silly reason for liking City. The first EPL game I really got into was a Derby match, I cheered for City then and they become my EPL team from then on. Then they suddenly got good.

Why be so petulant, Touré? Just accept the foul and walk away! Pillock.

When I started watching soccer a couple years ago, I was initially given the impression and told that 'City is just trying to buy victories' while United 'grew' their talent. I'm not sure if that's true anymore (or if it ever was). The idea of buying talent bothered me and still sticks with me I guess.

Not that I'm really a United fan, I'm more neutral and would prefer to see a good game regardless of the outcome.

Welbeck in. SAF is going for the win

I'm glad that City has not just parked the bus and decided to defend for the rest of the game. At least the game is more entertaining to watch this way.

Quite a bit more, actually. And remember, that spending for United is spread out over the entire period. For City, that number is almost entirely from the last four seasons.

\Don't support either club
