That's silicone. Silicon is a solid crystalline material with similar properties to a solid chunk of metal or rock you'd find lying around.

Silicene is flexible, but not semifulid (well, depending on the application you could suspend it in something I guess) in the way a polymer is. It's a sheet material like graphene, which is where the form of the name comes from.

Though, actually, self-organization at low layer thicknesses of various materials is kind of a point of interest for a lot of industries right now, if this ended up in cosmetic surgery somehow it wouldn't necessarily surprise me, not after people took the graphene research and applied it to making bicycle frames.
