I can buy "some struggles in our end trying to make up for the loss of Pietrangelo".

I'm not buying "play that pathetic in our own end, ON HOME ICE, because we don't have Pietrangelo". They have veterans like Barret Jackman back there, who, while not nearly as talented as Alex, know what the f*ck they're doing. Why they're NOT doing it is beyond me.

If anything, the Blues should have come out flying, hammering any King unlucky enough to get in their path, parking on Quick's doorstep, and generally being what they've been all season. Instead, they've continued to get progressively worse since the 1st period of Game 1.

I was about 15 minutes (real time) late in turning the game on. Score was 1-0. Within two minutes I thought "If we don't start playing, it's gonna get ugly."

I was right.
