Capitals remind me of the Habs from two years ago that went to the ECF. Suffocating defense in front of the net, ridiculous play from the untested goalie, and an opportunistic counter-attack offense.

Exactly. The Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens. When the Browns came back, they reinstated all the records/history to them. Although, I think the Ravens were OK with that.
