Had to be behind the refrigerator; the shot from the grassy knoll was blocked by the convection oven.

The Kennedys were loose cannons, a lot of established authority wanted them dead, from J Edgar Hoover, to the Mob, to the CIA, to the Miami Cubans.

She's the only one who heard the second shot? Did she consider that it might have been an echo?

timujin: She's the only one who heard the second shot? Did she consider that it might have been an echo?

In the full article, it says that sound techs that have examined the audio, have ruled it out. There is some question about the technique in determining there were more shots.

The problem is that if her eye witness testimony is correct, Robert Kennedy was facing the wrong way from Sirran to receive his wounds. It must be stated that eyewitness accounts are not always reliable.

I have it on good authority that the shooter in both cases was actually George W. Bush.

Joe, John, and Robert Kennedy committed suicide because they found out about their fathers sins of incise with Rosemary. She got a brain scraping. Ted missed on his two suicide attempts.

Wasn't this during his drunk and drugged years? Wouldn't that have affected his aim?

Give Turner & Christian's "The Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy" a read if you want more details about what was pretty obviously a conspiracy. It's fine if you want to believe assassinations of political leaders are usually done by "lone" nuts. But history almost always shows otherwise.

She's not the only one who has said that his body position didn't match the official story. Also, multiple witnesses say Sirhan was not close enough to Kennedy to have fired a shot that left the powder burns on the body. However, there was an off duty cop assigned to guard Kennedy who was in a position to have fired the shot, had a gun of the right caliber and then disposed of said gun before it could be examined.

I've always thought he was accidentally hit by his security detail trying to shoot Sirhan, and that it was simply covered up by blaming Sirhan.

2012-04-30 03:16:25 PM
Every bullet in RFK was the right calibre and direction to have been from Sirhan, so if there was a second gunman he missed.

Yeah, this hardly earns the "Unlikely" tag. The OFFICIAL explanation is "unlikely".

While eyewitness testimony is unreliable, the fact is that it's evidence that the explanation chose to rely upon. And the official explanation simply disregarded the actual testimony and used a modified version to justify their conclusion.

The evidence of wounds doesn't generally agree with the official account, either.

There's some bizarre theories that Sirhan Sirhan was hypnotized into a mole-assassin 'bot. All I can say is the theory that there was a second shooter is plausible. It is difficult for a conspiracy to include a crazy "lone wolf" like Jared Lee Loughner to show up and the time and place desired and do what your plan requires, even IF you were to try to "program" him.

As a former prolific hunter I've seen and heard some strange things in the field. Echos, richochets, echos of ricochets have made it seem like things were happening behind me when I could clearly see them happening in front.

Hell, I've been rained on by bird-shot that made it sound like bombs were about to fall from overhead.

Sirhan Sirhan has changed his tune so many damn times, he's got the Black Eyed Peas looking to rip off his back catalogue. Everything from he meant to do it, to he's a CIA Drone that was programmed to do it, to a second shooter, to being under hypnosis while doing the shooting, to feigning ignorance as to why he's in prison ("I did what?"), to God knows what else he's going to parade out next. This chick wants 15 minutes of fame in this world of misinformation and attention whoring.

Nothing to see hear, keep on moving.

She had to wait until all the other eyewitnesses forgot the details. Only then could she add the "correct" details without anyone else calling her on it.

/Sirhan should have just faked illness and asked for release on compassionate grounds
//it worked for al-Megrahi

The willful blindness on political assassinations goes back to ancient history.

Alexander conquers the known world, while amassing political foes at home, then after the wars, he suddenly drops dead of natural causes at 32-farking-years-old.

Attila makes it all the way to the gates of Rome, just to die of a mysterious illness, that never seemed to bother him when he was slapping the Roman army around.

The list goes on.

Luckily for the investigators Sirhan had the only gun in existence of that caliber, as it would be very inconvenient if someone else, also in a position to have fired the shots, also had such a gun.

There's also that sleeper agent pretzel's failed attempt to take out Dubya, and that old lawyer's attempt to use his face to ricochet some birdshot at Cheney.

Unhip1: "I'm so glad she's bringing this up ... 40+ years later...."

To be fair, if there's an 'official' government story, there's no reason to expect anyone would contradict it based on this one lady and no additional evidence.
I mean, we had enough trouble with the press pushing bullshiat in the lead-up to the Iraq war and sitting on stories regarding war crimes and trumped-up "terrorist plots" and all the rest. And that, in the 21st century where every would-be whistleblower or journalist looking to scoop their competitors was literally *surrounded* with the technical capability to self-publish.

So is it really fair to expect she could have done better in the 70s, 80s or early 90s?
And would anyone in the for-profit press have even *cared* without an anniversary and hearing to cross-promote the story?

There are places in Texas where they are proud his brother got shot in Dallas, they actually brag about it openly and they're glad their state was the one to remove that blight from Office the 'proper way'.
