Kinda hard to feel sorry for her....sticks & stones -and all that. She seemed to initiate the violence.

hahahahaha!

stupid people are funny to watch :D

Ah, the sophisticated folk of Boston and NYC.....

I've worn Red Sox gear at Yankee Stadium before. The only problem was a legitimately retarded guy trying to heckle us, but his dad sat him down and shut him up.

Was it during a red sox game?

People that wear a jersey for a team that isn't playing in the stadium deserve shiat thrown at them.

Yeah, it was the last sox game at the old stadium. I had a great time.

The Boston fan clearly initiated contact.

It's 50,000 against 1, honey. You're not winning that fight.

All that over baseball...

That was a sweet kick from the chubby little Yankee skank.

I can't believe the Boston ho got up.

So let's see, she's dressed in Red Sox gear at Yankee Stadium. The Red Sox are not playing. Yankee fans are heckling her, as should be expected. She gets mouthy, turns it into a physical altercation, then gets what she deserves.

2012-04-30 09:05:10 AM
The hardest part was watching $275 worth of beer get wasted.

Yeah, that's definitely over the top.

Yankees fans and Red Sox fans enjoy ribbing each other, but for the most part both fanbases are respectful. It's just the drunk assholes at every ballpark that ruin it.

And again, if you're going into Yankee Stadium or Fenway in the other team's gear, you clearly have to expect some nastiness to be thrown your way. It's going to happen. If you can't take the trash talk, don't go.

Yeah, unless you become a drunken douchebag, about the worst I've seen a Sox fan deal with at Yankee Stadium is the obligatory "Asshole" chant when the Sox fan arrives in the section.

Someone's about get very rich by suing the stadium for not responding promptly to quash the brawl, I just can't figure out who. Probably the camera guy.

I've never understood why hand-motions legitimize or make your insults more offensive. Why do girls have to get all gesture-y when they yell insults at each other?

2012-04-30 09:18:01 AM
that landing looked painful.. hard to just walk away after you land in popcorn and smack your noggin on a steel post.

over baseball you say?? hard to believe.

2012-04-30 09:18:56 AM
I am starting to really hate sports fans. Assholes all. Every day we get to hear about how some jackass got all mouthy after a few $20 beers and decided that the clothing that they root for is superior to the clothing that someone else does. Get a life, loser(s).

Just go to the stadium and enjoy the game-quit acting like 1) you're part of the team, and 2) it is your mission to make sure everyone who doesn't like what you like is some kind of ass.

It almost looked staged, falling straight back, dead center on the camera, and her head landed right between the bars, hitting neither one (maybe grazing). If she'd hit one of those bars square, she would've been OUT.

Fanatics, "hardcore fans," and drunks make fans look bad.

Here's a thought: Don't punch people and then move to continue trying to go after them.

Red Sox fan initiated violence.

Gee, color me surprised, New Yorkers usually act with more dignity and class than... oh, wait, no they don't.

Fark the Red Soxs,
Fark the Yankees.

/that is all.

2012-04-30 09:33:36 AM
At first I was like "not cool" but then I saw she got physical first, had a $8 beer poured on her, and went at them again.

Had it been a girl that kicked her in the face I would be sort of ok with it but since it was a guy, I still say not cool.

At least she didn't try to dance on any tables.

2012-04-30 09:35:02 AM
all participants are almost surely retarded. usually i have little sympathy for the gang of people who beat the shiat out of a girl, but she kind of was asking for it.

that said, do they not have security at yankees games? the fracas was slow enough in building that the incident should have been defused.

also, damn surprised she got up from that. i think there are baseball players would would miss half a season after a blow like that.

Watch the video. They were in their seats. The Boston girl was not. That should tell you something. And your town sucks, wherever it is.

You haven't been to too many games then

Every time I've gone there have been at least 3 or 4 fights, a blindside punch out of nowhere and multiple beers/food thrown

When the fark did this happen, because Boston hasn't been there lately? If she's a Sox fan and went to a Yankees game against someone other than the Sox, she should be banned for life from ever being associated with the Sox for being a drunk biatch who picks fights with Yankees fans IN YANKEE STADIUM.

One other thing the article mentions and I've never, ever, ever understood... Why in the world, when the Sox and Yankees don't wear names on their home jerseys (and NY doesn't on road ones either), do people insist on selling and buying "authentic" jerseys with names on them? Are people that goddamned retarded they don't notice this?

Yankee and Red Sox fans are, yes. These are bandwagoners who are there to be seen, and thus don't even notice details like that.

Aye, when football fans Glasgow-kiss each other into broken-faced oblivion, at least everyone knows the cause to be noble.

Meanwhile, this altercation would never happen at Fenway. Mostly because there are no seats there with enough space around for any human save a few proper midgets to lift a leg, much less land a kick, and unless it's the eighth or ninth inning of a completely misplayed, mismanaged, blowout loss for the Red Sox, the place would be too veal-pen crowded for anyone to fall that far.

Oddly, the worst violence I've seen at Yankee Stadium since the old days has been during Tigers games directed at fans in Red Sox gear. For some reason, they're always there, and the Yankees' supporters take umbrage.

/Also, peacocks are males; the females are called peahens and don't have the showy plumage of the males. Or were you saying she's a tranny or man-wannabe? Your illustration didn't help (though the original question about gestures was pretty mindless, anyway).

LOL Abuse is given at any stadium, my best friend is a Ray's fan his ol Lady a Boston fan and I am a Yankees fan. I can't wait to show up at Trop Field just to have all 12 Ray fans heckle me.

/We abuse the hell out of each other enough, but its all good fun.

So, in other words, peacocks are by definition male.

Farking muffin-topped drunken assholes. I have to deal with these "people" every weekend night here in Hoboken. The MO's always the same, the behavior's always the same, the result is the same. And drunk girls are WAY worse than drunk guys.

The only people who come out winners in this type of situation are lawyers. Ten bucks the muffin-top has already engaged the services of Mr. Rabinowitz esq.

Not everybody can be an adult.

I also think the bad blood between Giants fans and Dodgers fans is far worse.

The way it normally plays out is the Sox fan gets heckled, turns around and nods or tips the cap. Accepts the abuse because it's expected. Yankees fans get bored with it, move on. A few innings go by, heckling starts again, Sox fan good repeats previous good-natured acceptance. Game ends, everybody goes home. I got a lot of crap in Camden Yards with a NYY hat on and somehow I didn't get kicked down 4 rows.
