Well well well...

As a Lakers fan, I'm farking terrified of the Grizz. Z-Bo plays great against the Lakers even when he was stuck on awful Portland/Knicks teams. Marc Gasol can keep Bynum far enough away from the rim solo, and Tony Allen is freaking crazy and knows some secret voodoo magic to keep Kobe a little under his usual greatness. Oh, and if this stupid suspension scares World Peace into his passive role from the beginning of the year, we're not stopping Rudy Gay.

And now WTF IS GOING ON???

Two free throws for Paul, who's great from the line.

Good job giving CP3 two freebies, shiat.

DamnYankees: I have a feeling the Grizzlies are gonna pull this out and make this the most anticlimactic thing ever.

It would still be a huge confidence builder for the Clips if they were able to dig themselves out of a 20+ point hole.

2012-04-30 12:16:43 AM
Here we go.

2012-04-30 12:16:56 AM
Clippers have the lead again!

I've never heard a crowd SO QUIET when their team has a chance to win on a buzzer beater. This is amazing.

2012-04-30 12:16:56 AM
99-98 Los Angeles, 23.4 seconds left.

robsul82: Good job giving CP3 two freebies, shiat.

Even if he makes them, they still would have a good chance of taking the last shot. Trouble is, they can't make shiat right now.

2012-04-30 12:18:01 AM
This crowd is unbelievably quiet.

This is seriously one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in the NBA. I think it ties the Celtics-Nets comeback for the biggest playoff comeback ever if you count by the lead at the start of the fourth quarter.

2012-04-30 12:21:37 AM
Holy living fark!!!!

I hope Charles and the rest actually talk about what happened here.

Insane game. I was hoping Memphis won. Always love when the superstars shiat on Sager's suits. It's like a big inside joke in the NBA, I think. KG's comments are usually the best.

2012-04-30 12:27:25 AM
Okay, that's an impressive comeback.

2012-04-30 12:28:40 AM
Vinny Del Negro coached possibly the greatest NBA playoff comeback ever. Tee hee.

Mitch Taylor's Bro: R.P.M.: Mitch Taylor's Bro: R.P.M.: Mike_LowELL: So yeah, I remember how everyone wanted to trade Bynum for Howard. You know, so the Lakers could get the best center in the NBA.

Whoops.

Bynum was awesome today, but it was fun to watch Pau showcase all the things he can do. i hope they rethink it the next time they think of trading him.

I think it might have been worth it to get CP3, but really, I doubt there are any other players out there (that another team would consider trading) worth trading for Pau. Not only does he have tremendous skills, but his temperament allows him to contribute while being second or third fiddle to KB and AB. Not many guys out there of his caliber who would downplay their game the way he does.

I agree on the CP3 trade, only because i couldn't see a side that "won". which means it was probably a fair trade. great point on Pau's temperament. that is one of the reasons i miss Odom. he was happy to be Pau's sidekick so Pau could take over(-ish). similar to Pau with Hill in the OKC game.

Odom did it, too, but it took him a while to adjust to coming off the bench. Pau walked in and immediately did whatever was necessary to win. He picked up the new-to-him triangle offense really quickly too.

i totally agree. the way Pau fit in a complicated offense immediately upgraded his stock to me. i admit my bias for Kobe, but Pau is gunning for that stature. he gets here and three Finals appearance (one that he battled the defensive player of the year for a win). that's got to count.

Brown has done OK, but if Phil and Lamar walked back in next season...it may be nostalgia, but i would be happy. i know i am "young", but it still weird not to see Phil on the sidelines. stupid clown ring...

you are a puppet: Anyway, what's funny is the Hawks have a legitimate chance at the ECF now with Rose out, but even if Horford comes back it's a moot point; the Heat will embarrass us. Compare to a team like Memphis who, if they were the 4/5 seed in the East, would have a chance to beat the Heat or anyone else because because of their matchup problems and hot/cold nature. Really takes the excitement out of it when you know there's a ceiling.

Any team in the western conference other than the Nuggets would have a good shot at beating the Heat, the east is just really awful and it sucks that Rose and Howard got hurt.
