I'm currently at my Mom's house for the next couple of months to build an addition. This means I haven't been drinking. Which is a bit out of character.

But I still say the President does have an effect on the economy. I'm not saying that he is completely in charge of it, but that he does have a significant effect.

The President has an effect on the economy, I will agree with that. If that is your only argument you are right. I think you overestimate it, though. The House has a much more direct effect since they usually change the president's budget so much that it is unrecognizable.

Well, in my opinion, the only thing that will get this country back on track fiscally is conservatism and Obama and his crew are completely against that. They want socialism.....and they have been very vocal about it. Romney, although not perfect, not my first choice, is far better, has actually worked in the private sector, has real world experience. Obama will move fwd with his agenda and will completely take this county.....or at least leave it in true shambles for the next prez....down a socialism path. I can say this because I have seen Obama's meddling first hand working for my bro and being around lots and lots of small business owners who say his policies are taking all their $$ and effort and driving them out of business. Obama has no real world experience......none. He is a true elitist and I truly hope you do your homework and get your vote right, otherwise there won't be any American dream for your daughter to take advantage of in the future. Romney won't be a Reagan, but he will have true conservatives around him, and the American people, who will keep him in line. He won't get away with anything. Obama spends more than half his time trying to divide the country and what he can't get thru congress, he does thru executive order, or thru regulations via IRS, EPA, banking, whomever. It is quite disturbing and not at all how I pictured this country to be! I mean, I figured we'd have to fight for freedom at some point, but this is ridiculous!
