As opposed to all those liberals who kept loving Ted Kennedy for all those years.

I don't think we were fellating him, certainly not as much as the right reviled him. But he did his job well and we appreciated that.

Democrat logic:
George W. Bush: Not fit to serve office even before he actually got in because he was once(?) a drunkard
Ted Kennedy, whose drinking actually got someone killed, and who we know was a drunkard till his dying day: Oh, we can't stay mad at you!

I thought Keith died after he left ESPN.

Both are douches, Oreilly is just the smarter douche, its kind of like being the smallest anal polyp, it means nothing since youre still rubbing shiat every day.

This whole post is correct and goes very well with your username by the way. Also I stopped watching Olbermann when he started pretending he was Edward R. Murrow. No matter how hard he wishes he will never be him, have his talent or his courage. It's hilarious how hard he tried because from other articles I've read he's just another prissy biatch talking head.

2012-04-30 04:34:34 AM

Surool: F*ck off Keith. You admitted you are fair game. You don't get to set time limits on when people can tell jokes about you.

And thus, Keith Olbermann should be banned from saying anything. No, seriously. Cut out his tongue, slice his hands off at the wrists, and be done with him.

/No, not seriously.

Kurmudgeon: FTA:Keith Olbermann: "Funny that Jimmy Kimmel ripped me after his people desperately wanted me to fly to LA to be on his show this past Wednesday,""

Yeah, that's some harsh stuff all right.
It's just a kerfluffle, nothing to get upset about.

No, Olbermann is the douchiest douche that ever douched. We should kill him. It would only be fair for the likes of him.

/Put a surveyor's mark on him, he's done.

exploding pork: When conservatives insist liberals don't have a sense of humor, Olbermann is the first person that comes to mind.

Before he went completely off the deep end he could be funny and have interesting bits of the show,I remember when the Mythbusters blew up that baseball, this had to be around the first or second year it was on. I liked the format and his humor until something just went wrong with the show. It went from here's some politics and other general news stories to all five stories are about politics and here's my long ass angry rant about politics.

The funny thing is...some people actually think Jimmy Kimmel is funny.

Funny how the Derp Liberals are now attacking Olbermann, when just a short time ago they were on their knees prostrating in admiration

As pointed out above, if you can read English, most people were unaware what a dick he was in real life; therefore, he's been turned upon by his former supporters.

Compare and contrast with Rush's Dittoheads.

2012-04-30 06:27:22 AM
In fact, I'd argue Rush's Dittoheads support him MORE every time he acts like a dick. Wonder why that is? And you want to whine about normal human beings saying we're fed up with this guy? UCFRoadWarrior, I feel sorry for your little brain.

When Olbermann burned all his bridges at ESPN, it was easy to write off because well, they're ESPN and there are plenty of people who have beefs with them for one reason or another. But when the goes and does the same thing at MSNBC and Current in quick succession, it's bloody obvious that the problem is him. It would be a problem if people didn't turn on him now that everyone knows he's the jerk who can't play well with others.

"Most people" were unaware, or simply unwilling to see because they agreed with his politics?

I don't like Olbermann or Limbaugh or Beck or ___________ (fill in pundit hack here) but the on-air tirades, stories of the off-air fits and confrontations, and his departure from MSNBC after multiple incidents of bad behavior mean he wasn't exactly hiding his personality.

At his best in front of the camera, he's funny, witty, biting and very intelligent.

At his worst, both in and off camera, he's a raging narcissist who can't control his actions or emotions in a manner more befitting a 5 year old child.

2012-04-30 07:00:40 AM
Ahem -- in best Foghorn Leghorn voice -- "Ah anything, I say anything, to keep mah name out there."

Olberman forgot to mention in that tweet about Kimmel paying to fly him out to his show that the plane he was booked on was designed and engineered by the same crack Best Korean crew responsible for the latest missile failure.

I've known too many people like him: guys who are so susceptible to teh butthurtz, you can't even come close to joking with them.

I worked with a guy who once got fired for playing audio of the Nick Berg beheading and laughing about it on the air. Try to crack a joke about him, though? He'd cry to the program director.

Keith strikes me as that kind of guy. A bit of a diva.

But to be honest, I didn't even know Current TV was still on the air, but then I don't get 'Channel a Million.'

That's funny.

Olbermann's whining on Twitter makes him look like a little biatch who can't take a joke.

2012-04-30 09:08:41 AM
On another note, isn't this the 2nd prominent gig Kimmel's gotten because of some bunched-up panties resulting from another comic (Maher at ABC, and Louis C.K. for this)? Since when did the guy famous for girls jumping on trampolines and making a Chris Benoit joke at Flava Flav's roast become the safe option?

oh_please: Olbermann's whining on Twitter makes him look like a little biatch who can't take a joke.

So, it's making him look like he really is?

He was ok on Sportscenter, he got the news right and delivered it well. He became a blowhard whiny biatch once he got his own political show.

/the skewering Ben Affleck gave him on SNL was one of the funniest moments in SNL in the last 20 years.

Just wish he would have never left ESPN, and that The Big Show was still on the air. As for the O'Reilly comparison, get over it KO. Not everyone is out to get you. Like him or not, O'Reilly has more viewers in a night than Keith had in a week on MSNBC (or a month on whatever the Gore network is).

Keith Olberman is more like Glenn Beck than Bill O'Reilly. Back when they first started out, they were interesting, amusing, and made some halfway decent points. Then they became super successful and it went to their heads.

About a decade ago, Beck was actually funny, did lots of jokes and amusing bits, and his political views seemed a sort of mildly conservative Libertarian. Then he got really big, with his TV show and went batshait insane. It's pretty much what happens to all of these fruitcakes.
