It's a wonder that any racing is happening. Why do they intentionally design tracks with the first turn virtually guaranteed to lead to disaster? The drivers are not going to give way, no matter how much the course designers and race stewards might want them to.

Well, Briscoe went over some bumps and went head first into a wall. That brought out the SC, and the restart led to this Dario thing. Poor Newgarden would up in the wall.

I was honestly shocked this didn't happen on lap 1 turn 1. It has the past 2 years. That corner has been a problem the whole time Indycar has visited, and will probably cost Brazil this race once the contract is up.
