Anyone else watch the K&N race Thursday night on Speed? Joy Logano was in the booth, and seemed to be having a blast.

@JennaFryer
There have been 6 caution flags over the last 1,000 miles of racing. 1 so far tonight, a competition caution.

good_2_go: Jensaarai: Aren't there currently bad storms in certain parts of the country right now?

Northern KY appears to be in for it tonight.

Tornado warnings in downtown St. Louis, where there was a Cards game today, and Blues game tonight. A tent outside a bar near Busch Stadium was destroyed by wind shortly after the baseball game, with one fatality and about 100 people injured.

can't, daughter in the house. Gotta go with "the Bundy" - pants open, hand down the front

This is perfectly acceptable under the circumstances.

So today in the Charlotte Observer a columnist had a moderately funny bit about how the fans just got what they wanted, and how if it always worked that way, Dale Jr. would be a 17-time champion, Kyle Busch would be banned, etc. Does anyone know what he was talking about in regards to the fans getting something they wanted? All I can think of is the refiguring of Bristol.

The NASCAR establishment, including those in the media is currently annoyed with the fans for complaining about "BS cautions," then complaining about how boring the past few races without cautions have been.

They're completely missing the point that on track action has been sub par in Cup. We've had long greens in the truck race at Rockingham, and even drivers watching on TV pointed out how fun it looked with actual tire fall off. Once again it's entirely possible one of the lower NASCAR series will have put on the better show than Cup at the same track.

But the establishment just think the fans are retarded. It's not a good sign for the sport.

You don't play in traffic on an active pit road.

No, I think he threatened to blackball crew members who run into traffic and throw hissy-fits with an official.

It was the audio equivalent of a strongly worded letter

But then what of "You and I and your tire need to have a meeting in the pits I insist"

I propose to the thread that Michael Waltrip would be a much better fit as a host of Antiques Roadshow versus actually providing color for his own profession.

Thoughts?
