I'm at RIR today/tonight. The rain has been on and off since about noon, though it stopped at about 5:30-6:00 PMish, and the jet dryers have the track just about dry as of 6:45. The band of weather that was to the west and heading this way has broken up for the most part, so things are looking promising.

I'll try to get photos posted as best I can this evening, so if anyone has requests, let me know. The drivers have been mostly 'in hiding' waiting for the weather to clear up.

Thanks for the info GFTL. I hope they can get this one in tonight. Should certainly be more fun than the last two races. Really cool that you're at the track, kinda jealous here. Since you said you'd take requests I'd like to see a pic of Martin on the pole. Can't hurt to ask, right?

Aren't there currently bad storms in certain parts of the country right now? IIRC, there have been issues with an admin or two who normally greens these things on the weekend getting caught out without power.
