ending the leadership of current Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

"We're going to take that gavel out of his hands," said Amy Kremer, Tea Party Express chairwoman.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong... Doesn't the Speaker of the House have a gavel? I was not aware the Senate Majority Leader also had one. I thought that belonged to the Vice President?

Yes. He was just creating jobs because he likes nothing more to give his money away.

No riots, no vandalism, no lice, no crime... Everyone is peaceful and there are no problems? Who they are and why they are there is clear and unambiguous?

Yep, it's a Tea Party event.

A Dark Evil Omen: I can't even make fun of this, it's all so pathetic.

Its that same feeling I get when I see that picture of a McCain rally with the fat guy asleep while holding a sign. You almost start to feel BAD for them. Then you stop feeling sorry and realize that they will forever proudly vote against their self-interests and hurt themselves to stick it to the libs.

2012-04-28 12:28:24 PM
Literally tens of people showed up for that.

2012-04-28 12:28:45 PM
of the 13 people in that photo I can only identify two who have some object or apparel that is American flag related. Hell, the chihuahua - a Mexican dog - is decked out in patriotic garb. I question these people's commitment to sparkle motion.

we get it, if you were alive in 1776 you'd have supported the crown. we get it. you can stop posting now.

/when the "Tea Partiers" look down on people using vandalism as a form of political and social protest, we are truly through the looking glass. Do any of those illiterate fools even know what the "Tea Party" they are referencing was?

Pretty much. "That's actually kind of sad. I want to offer them an ice cream cone and a lift home... Oh, wait, that's right, it's a fan convention for admirers of thieves and killers, EvilCon East 2012. Forget that."

Who they are: Assholes.
Why they're there: The Republican party hired them as props.

You must admit, it's pretty unambiguous.

They mean he's intentionally doing it? You'd think he do more things to actually destroy the country.

There is a very cynical side of me that wants the Teabaggers to take the WH, Senate, and House, just so we can get this shiat over with. I would love to see the people that supported this nonsense get what they truly deserve. Unfortunately, that would mean that everybody would have to suffer, including virtually every nation on earth that is somewhat tied to our economy and foreign policy, and especially the nations we'd end up invading for no apparent reason. I'm in my 30's, and the damage done in just two years would still not be undone by the time I leave this earth.

I don't know which is more of an embarassment to Pittsburgh:

This or the furry convention they hold every year.

/Yes I know this happened in Cranberry Twp., it's still close enough to Pittsburgh

Its people like that that make me wary of anyone decked out in flag designs. I have to wonder, are they wearing it because they love the symbol of the flag, or are they just using it as a shield against any valid criticism on their stances? Sadly, its mostly the second one.

They do. Remember: Teabaggers dress like the British at their bagger-rallies. They celebrate the Boston Tea Party - they just aren't representing the side you think they are.

/same as Civil War re-enactments in the South

I love that cartoon. That's exactly how you need to treat these TP idiots: like children. Too bad unlike children they have the right to vote.

We need to outvote them. Get out the vote people! These farks sure as hell are going to the booths.

Hey, Furries are harmless. And local businesses slap a paw logo and a 25% markup on the stuff they usually sell and make money hand over fist. We'll keep the furries, but the tea party has got to go.

I think they'd buy it from the store with no questions asked where it came from, as long as it's cheap. I doubt they even checked the label.

Well so far they're only in Cranberry so you got a little bit of a buffer zone.
