FTFA: 3:34 p.m. - Police responded to North State Road, where a resident reported finding an unknown liquid-identified possibly as dog urine-inside a child's wagon. A report was taken.

I was wondering where that went.

Calls like that are mind boggling. Rinsing it out with a garden hose seems like a logical solution.

Sounds like a case of Schraden feud.

Don't even get that neighbor started on the racket made when the neighbor and his wife are doing the horizontal mambo.

Briarcliff Manor?

Man even for Westchester that sounds like a snooty place.

I am a veteran of the grueling back roads of South Salem, NY.

None of you in this thread apparently know what it was really like.

Crickets chirping while you try to sleep. The smell of skunk lingering in the air when you walk to the bus stop (in the snow! on roads without sidewalks!) in the morning. Forests and fields to roam through and your mother yelling at you for getting your new shoes muddy. A front yard big enough to play baseball or football with the neighbor kids and sometimes you lost (and didn't even get a trophy for trying). Having to earn money by bailing hay in the summer (OK, that was in North Salem).

It was brutal, I tells ya...

Oh come on, I don't snore THAT loud. Cincinnati maybe, but Westchester?

2012-04-28 10:14:25 AM
I would call the police for that too. If I could hear my neighbor's snoring over distant trains, traffic, occasional shooting, police helicopter last night with my windows closed something is wrong. They would've had to break into my house for me to hear them snore.

Westchester? That was probably Sean Cassidy.

/wonder if there was any structural damage done to the house?

Yeah, but by the time he dialed 9-1-1, it was over.

3:34 p.m. - Police responded to dissatisfied woman on North State Road. A report was taken. Again.

Stupid law and order. Somebody should report them to anonymous.

/"Westchester suburb"? Would that make it Rockland?
//No.

"too loud" or "too loudly"?

/if my coworkers are any indication, then yes they are

If Fark were literature, nobody would be using half of your above capitalization and punctuation. Fark is not literature.

The lack of adverb usage in the headline is merely quoted from TFA, so I'm really not sure what the hell you're going on about.

My husband's snoring is incredibly loud. Through some insurance mistake, his Ambien prescription was not refilled. Turns out, he can sleep just fine w/o it and he has stopped snoring. Suck it, Ambien!

I grew up in the town next to Pleasantville.
It is exactly as scary a place as that police blotter makes it out to be.

I think if we are of a certain age, we will never, ever, get that out of our heads.

Thank goodness they invented the "mute" button, or who knows what kind of debris would be floating around in my head now.

LOL I don't even have to read the article. I know all about this. The hubby and I had gone up to my sister's lake place. She has a mobile home on a lot she rents from a resort. We had pitched a 3 room tent in the yard for the hubby, my youngest kid, and I . Thankfully, I'm a sound sleeper. The next morning, as usual, I was awake and out on the dock fishing. About 7 am, people started crawling out of their cabins or mobile homes. I kept hearing "who was that snoring last night, we could still hear him after we closed the windows." My kid said people where biatching to beat the band as they closed their windows. The hubby can really snore up a storm.
