IAmRight: Harv72b: Yeah, but we've already got Terrance "Mt." Cody there, and Arthur Jones to back them up.

I would love to see the four of them on a goalline stand, though.

That's a Madden d-line there.

/Funniest thing he ever did (intentionally) was name nothing but nose tackles to his All-Madden defense.

Did the Eagles just pick somebody the NFL has no stats for?

Eagles pick T Dennis Kelly. You know he's a big-time prospect when nfl.com doesn't even have his height & weight, let alone a rating.

*HUGS*

Sorry to hear that. Hope all is well!!

/Good news on my part at least...I moved back to Pittsburgh, and can watch ALL the Steeler games next year.
//You and DanZero will be seeing a lot of me!

Thanks babe. *hugs back* :) It's been rough, but I think I'm starting to come to terms with things.

Glad to hear you're back in Pittsburgh! :D I might get the chance to come up there for one of the preseason games, thanks to my sister-in-law's incredibly generous parents - they gave their tickets to me and my brother for a preseason game last year, and are apparently considering doing so again because they're awesome. :D Not sure if it'll work out this time, but at any rate, it'll be good to see you, DanZero, Sarcastica, and the whole crew in gameday threads!

2012-04-28 02:50:28 PM

netweavr: Take away the big play and he still had a good game. I'll accept the "one play" argument for Willie Parker or (possibly) Antwaan Randle El, but not Hines Ward.

4 receptions for 80 yards is pretty "meh." Every Pittsburgh performer was outperformed by his Seattle counterpart in that game. It all came down to "Every Seattle TD to take a lead doesn't count, and if Pittsburgh is somewhat close to the goal line, they're in" refereeing.

/all three teams on that field sucked

IAmRight: netweavr: The man who crushes the dreams of the NFC West

That's not James Harrison or the Super Bowl XL refereeing crew (I tried to think of someone else from the Steelers who had a good game, but really, everyone sucked).

Antwaan Randle El, the best quarterback of the Super Bowl XL Champion Steelers?

4 receptions for 80 yards in a game with 417 total passing yards (according to wiki) is more than "meh"

Hines Ward was ~20% of all passing offense that day, without his biggest play.

6'8" and 300 lbs? He's underweight for that height but yeah, worth a shot I guess.

Easy enough to add weight to a player. Still seems more like a 6th- or 7th-rounder, though.

I'm getting psyched too, with all the rave reviews.

It really is refreshing that the Bengals new wide recievers are both pretty soft spoken team guys, especially as we just saw from Sanu. I ended up being really tired of Ochocinco and TO talking all the time.

2012-04-28 03:02:28 PM
They could take a corner. I don't see them going for ILB here, since they picked up a backer and said they would try to put him inside.

RB out of Washington. He's considered the top player still available. His grade makes him look like a first- or second-rounder but there must be something about him I don't know that the teams do, since I thought he would go in the fourth round at worst.
