netweavr: I'm not sure I'd want to be behind Peyton Manning.

Old Manning Gas?

Moment of silence for lost pick #59.

I think "kiddie farker".

muck4doo: It makes me laugh how Detroit fans always try to make it sound like Barry ran behind the worst O-Line ever. That is such crap, and they know it.

You wanna guess how I know you never watched Barry play? He was always getting hit in the backfield or before he even got the ball but sure, keep on stroking Emmitt for playing on one of the greatest teams ever.

Three different leads against Verlander and Nova's blown 'em all. Goddamn it.

robsul82: redmid17: robsul82: Sitting behind Manning was great for Curtis Painter.

Defying any kind of explanation, Painter still has a job in the NFL

Caldwell obviously likes him for some bizarre reason.

Last season my friends and I were positing that he had some kind of evidence incriminating Irsay, Polian, and Caldwell in some kind of orgy with dead unicorns or something. No other reason he should have kept the starting spot that long last year.

...if the Saints traded up to this pick, the look on Goodell's face would be amusing.

AdmirableSnackbar: puffy999: Wow I am impressed with the reaction toward Barry Sanders.

It is wrong to do anything but cheer Barry, no matter what your football allegiances. Guy never showed anyone up, just did his job at an amazing level and just smiled and handed the ball to the official when he was done.

I am a Packer fan and Sanders is one of my all-time favorites.

Bobby Massie should go soon.

Harv72b: Nana's Vibrator: Put it this way. If Bernie Kosar were active in 1996 would he have played for Baltimore?

He was. He got into 3 games as a backup in Miami.

By those rules... aren't all the Raven's just the Colts then? That is some butt farkingly stupid trolling.

Well, I just spent the past 15 or so minutes trying to find a highlight reel of Tavon Wilson.

Isn't this Ravens pick one of the Elder Gods of the Cthulhu mythos?

Like I said, he lost yards half the time, but was the greatest big play RB. It wasn't because he had a crappy O-Line, it's because that's how he played the game. Tell me again though how that O-Line that included Brown and Glover was so horrible.

GB just traded up after the next pick.

muck4doo: Nana's Vibrator: They have to get the fans out of there. They boo every pick.

Jets, Giants, or Iggles fans? The boos do outweigh the cheers. For every single pick.

That is why I find the Blackmon pick by the Jags interesting. There wasn't a boo.

Schefter - New England traded second-round pick to Green Bay for Packers third- and fifth-round picks. Patriots back in the draft Saturday.

Is...is anyone going to take Reuben Randle? Anyone? I mean, he was projected by a lot of people to go late first round, are you really gonna let him fall to the third?

No problem. one thing the Pats have proven recently is that they know how to pick great DBs in the draft. I

Wow, was not expecting that.

I guess the future for us is Hunter and James.

49ers are planning on fielding an offense of 11 running backs apparently.

SF just got their kick returner.

CavalierEternal: Is...is anyone going to take Reuben Randle? Anyone? I mean, he was projected by a lot of people to go late first round, are you really gonna let him fall to the third?

San Diego might, he's certainly tall enough.

Stepped away for a while & still catching up, but I would not have been upset to see him picked by Baltimore instead of Sneeze.

2012-04-27 09:12:05 PM
Since Epiphany isn't here to homer it up, I'll defend that pick.

SF needed a kick returner, LaMichael James fills that role without a lot of downside.

He's one of the bald guys on the Fantasy crap, isn't he?

robsul82: Pittsburgh took a major pothead, that's cool.

I'm in here late.

So. Pittsburgh drafts a Pot smoking, wife beating egotistical moron from tOSU in 2006. We win a super bowl with him. He then starts to smoke pot again.

6 years LATER. We draft a pot smoking moron who MAJORED IN CRIMINOLOGY?!?!?

/Steelers, I will bleed black and gold always...but....stop tapping tOSU.

Epiphany? Nah, he's typical 49ers Faithful. "Well, I don't understand it but *insert GM/Coach here* is smarter than me and knows what he/she's doing."

They need a complement/replacement to/for Gore, so I don't think it's a bad pick at all, especially with the KR/PR stuff thrown in. He's not going to be a workhorse, but I'd love him at 15-20 touches a game.

muck4doo: 49ers should take another WR, just so I can hear Epiphany explain how awesome the pick is.

I was thinking that just earlier today. That they should take another awesome WR. Then I was going to be like "Why can't I hold all these WR's!??!?!" and I would have laughed.

LaMichael James is a great pick though. With Frank Gore being injury prone (but still a monster) their backfield is going to be farking crazy. Why can't I hold all these RB's! I liked Anthony Dixon too, that sucks, hope he sticks with a different team.

Gore
Hunter
James
Jacobs

CANT WAIT!

This is how you build a team for the future. their OL is set outside of RG for the next 3 or 4 years, their RBs and WR are getting old, they have a young QB of the future that will sit for another year, and a defense full of young playmakers and solid depth to replace departures (outside of Safety)

I like it. I love it. I want some more of it.

The New York Giants select Reuben Randle, WR, LSU.

2012-04-27 09:16:40 PM
netweavr: steamingpile: Shocked, farking shocked that the falcons actually picked a decent OL instead of some stupid flash pick, maybe they are finally using common sense.

Falcons draft well, their issue isn't players. It's the guys telling the players what to do.

That's a big part but making suspect picks has hounded them for years, I still say they should have cancelled the trade last year if they couldn't get AJ, Julio is ok but the only reason cincy looked good last year was because of AJ.
