Go here to find an unedited version of the Matrix painting, which also includes Transformers, space ships and some form of flying dragon. Plus a close up view of the Superman addition.

GungFu: Salamanca cathedral, built in the 11th century.

Actually, that was added during a restoration in 1992.

It's very...squiggly looking. It's as though it was built as a mockery of a temple, with flashy, exaggerated versions of the standard features. I don't see how anyone could go there specifically to relax; no matter where you sat, some peice of something somewhere would be at the correct angle to shine a bright light in your eye. That, and everything looks like it alternates between being too squiggly or too sharp to touch; where do you sit? Yeah yeah, the ground...still though.

Um...the Elder Gods on the walls make me want to hoard my few remaining San points carefully.

I have no doubts that a non-Buddhist douche will claim that this is an affront to Buddhism, and an insult to Buddha, proving they have no idea what the hell they're talking about but will attempt to sue the fark out of the guy.

Its main entrance consists of 3 arcs, each leading to the 3 naves (sections) of the church. All three are richly carved.[1] Among the ornate carvings on the façade is the incongruous likeness of an astronaut floating in space; it was added by an artist during restoration work in 1992 as a symbol of the 20th century.[2][3]
