Wow! This dad has talent!
Not often a person can turn out pictures of "the kids" that could draw an audience.
Thanks subby! This gave me something fun to share. :-D

While I think those photos are absolutely adorable, if you're going to emulate this guy, make sure you use a digital camera.

I can pretty well guarantee that if you used film and had it developed at a store, you'd end up with a visit from CPS over the nature of some of the pictures.

Still no tips on how to take photos of other people's kids?

Parents, pay attention, this is how you Photoshop photos of your kids and turn them into AWs.

BurnShrike: Still no tips on how to take photos of other people's kids?

Telephoto lens for outdoor shots.
For indoor shots, you'll want something shorter, but not too short because you don't want the images looking distorted.

Damn, duct tape would be easier than the nail gun. Daddy's sorry kids.

+1 to the Dad/Son

Ok, those were fun. I especially like the one with the 'for dummies' books. I could have used those growing up.

/Want to have more fun with kids and photo's? Give your kid a camera phone and let them have it. My daughter had the wifes iphone and took 100 pics of herself making different facial expressions while coming back home from north ga. Some turned out pretty damm funny

They look like a fun bunch.

some of those are interesting, but I wonder how much time he spends processing those things in PS or whatever tools he uses. Probably be time better spent with the kids...i'm sure grandma would have been just as happy with regular pictures, probably would have gotten more of 'em too (and been able to see the KIDS better too)

I can see it now...

Yep, those girls look miserable.

What is with people who can't enjoy one little thing in life?

That's some good stuff. Dad obviously has some skills with PS but it doesn't hurt that his kids are pretty darned cute, and obviously willing to go along with some silly stuff. The "dummies book" pic could be a good selling poster.

Or maybe the kids had fun staging the pics and maybe they learned some Photoshop along with dad.

If the kids are the ones generating the ideas then that means they probably enjoy it.

This made my Friday so far.

I'd have to agree with Bathia_Mapes. Have seen quite a few parents/grandparents scrutinized by CPS for taking innocuous pics of their kids in bathing suits, bathtub and other scenarios. Not saying that some of it isn't warranted but these days it's a crap shoot.

Or, you know...maybe he does that stuff when the kiddies are in bed. Being kids, I imagine, as with most kids, they go to bed quite earlier than the parents.

My kids sled down our stairs almost daily. Those are some cool photos. Some decent photoshop skills and some real nice shots. Wish I could take the time to make some like this.

BUT THEY'RE SOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE (SQUUUEEEEEEEE)

What's the matter, don't like photodiabeetus? Don't like optically induced sugar coma? Need your insulin? What is it? Your eyes crust over in frosting? Is it gas? Well? How could anyone not just love those two adorable little darlings? Are you saying you're not part of the Occupy Womb movement? But, CHILDREN, there's CHILDREN on the other side of that link, you know, the prime directive, man: to reproduce, then take snaps of it for "likes" and cuteness-fellation.

She's serious. There's been a few Fark threads about parents arrested for possession of child porn because they had pictures of their kids in the bathtub developped at Walmart and were ratted out by the lab techs.

I prefer candid shots that actually show my kids personality as opposed to overly posed photochops that have nothing to do with my actual children beyond using them as set peices thank you very much.

That's not the hole I'd be worried about.

They've got to have a way to get the liquids out or they'll drown
-or-
something, something, glory hole.

/I'll have a seat over there.
