The episode third from the top and four over is a classic.

That was neat.

Skip ahead to 46 minutes in and Kirk's dick is in everyone.

Ha, I can identify most of the episodes pane by pane. Does that mean I'm a sad sad man?

A sad sad man among many, I'm afraid...

It is disturbing how hypnotic that was. I found myself far longer than I thought I would.

I'd correct that, except I think it turned out better after I accidentally the whole thing.

Is that the episode Tennessee Williams wrote, or is it the episode where Dean Martin played a red shirt (inspiring Scotty's haircut in season 3)?

Meh, the vol. 4 Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD did the same thing went you hit the "play all" feature back in 05.

It was annoying as shiat as they didn't include a normal play all option to go along with it.

2012-04-27 05:04:19 AM
We did this already. Ok, it was every episode of the Simpsons. Still, once was enough.

I'm glad someone finally gave some attention to that under-visited site, io9.

A lot of those TOS episodes were just Sterling-esque short stories padded out with long, extended, dialogue-less scenes of the crew just standing there, doing nothing but staring at something slowly happening on the main screen, with rising-tension music.

I found it interesting how much variation there was in the timing of the "cold opening"s before the title sequence. I think today, you'd find the timing much more uniform.

The most significant thing I noticed was how utterly dominant Kirk and Spock are in terms of screen time. Significant portions of those screens were gold or blue most of the time.

That's ridiculous. If it was a sponsored link, it would be required to use the appropriate tag.

Otherwise, it would be kinda deceptive and sleazy, and that's not the FARK I know and love.

in case you just want to watch it on Youtube . . .

\\that was bizarre
\I would have thought the pre-sell or pre-credit stuff would have been more locked down than it was, timewise . . .

Kind of a TOS salad, wasn't it?

I love that series but couldn't take more than 3 minutes of that mix.
